  1. For the past year we've all been watching some really odd and sometimes wretched behavior from what we commonly refer to as "the left". With this whole Hollywood scandal I now realized that there might not be such a thing as "left-wing propaganda". Every movie, every tv-show, every song, every comic, every book that espouse the leftist-agenda has been tainted (I'm not implying the right is innocent). What did J.K. Rowling have to do in order to get published? Or get movies done? What Did Emma Watson have to do in order to get to speak in from of the UN? What did Kimmel do in order to get a late-night show? Meryl Streep? We can go on and on and on with examples. These people have all gave a part of themselves in order to get where they are, they metaphorically sold their soul to the devil (perhaps in some cases not that metaphorically). What would that do to a person? How would a person act towards the innocent knowing deep down that they themselves are wretched? I think it's simple. In their minds they can never be the bad guy so when they see someone that forces them to realize they're evil they will play a sophist trick on themselves and others: they will start changing definitions. Redefining evil as good and good as evil is how these people are able to live with themselves. So leftist propaganda is not for us but ultimately for them. It's an imaginary world of their own making where they're seen as the good, as rebels, as moral pillars, as superheroes. What we have witnessed all this time is their pathology masked in a pretty package. When Roman Polanski won an Oscar, look at Harrison's Ford face as he reads his name. Doesn't it suddenly make sense now why he's so miserable and cynical? People have always complained how he seems to ruin every movie he's in now because he plays each role as the "I really don't wanna be here" guy. Knowing what he knows we would probably be the same. Marina Sirtis (from Star Trek TNG) once broke down at a panel and thanked the fans for giving her the life she has now. After watching Electric Boogaloo you'll know of the other path her career might have taken her. Furthermore look at Patrick Stewart's face at the Emoji movie premiere. Why is Ben Affleck a drunken mess in most of his interviews? What demons is he trying to drown out? Adam Sandler is notorious for making what can be loosely called "movies" and turning a profit every single time. When Al Pacino degraded himself in one of those "movies" people wondered what the hell is wrong with him to willingly take such a plunge? When the top in Hollywood is nothing but a sewer, doing a humiliating Dunkin' Donuts commercial seems pretty clean to me. Mark Millar is as successful of a comic book writer as one can get. In his comic WANTED, also a major Hollywood movie, the main character is an average Joe that's privy to how the world actually works and fully accepts it. It's a superhero comic without any superheroes, it's a world where everything is run by villains and every protagonists is a villain. The main character joins the elite, the high ranking society, and at some point even rapes an A-list celebrity without any consequence. In the Hollywood version of the story everything is turned upside down. They're not villains but assassins (ends justify the means kinda mentality) and the main protagonist is not a villain but a hero. Again, they can't be the villains so they have to put a spin on it. Robin Williams killed himself to avoid to work in that industry. Or what about Leonardo diCaprio? How much does one have to sin in order to feel like you have to save the entire planet in order to atone for them? Even ComicCon makes sense now. I always wondered why would these celebrities and creative types go to such a chaotic place where people pay them to touch them. I'm guessing that taking money directly from fans and cutting out the Weinstein-ish middleman is a breath of fresh air. I wish things were different but ultimately I'm glad I'm finally seeing how the hamburger is made.

  2. It was pretty damn obvious that "the left" wasn't trying to brainwash people but rather actually believed in its own bullshit back when Project Veritas Action uncovered the bird-dogging scandal at the tail end of the election. These people, caught on undercover camera, weren't talking like they knew they were wrong but waned to win. They expressed genuine belief that they knew what was best, that they were going to make the world better with "their way", and that their enemies REALLY were as evil as they insisted that they were. "Liberalism is a mental disorder". The thought process of pushing boundaries for the sake of boundary pushing, the mentality that change is always an improvement, the belief that humans can be "changed" and that there is no such thing as human nature, the ability to inhabit other characters' minds as if they were yours because you have no mind of your own, has always been the product of a broken mind. Liberals are the way they are because they've always been diseased of the brain. The adages "Every villain is the hero of the story in their own mind" and "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions" have long existed for a reason.

  3. During my travels I met a woman in the Pyrenees region France who was an Aerospace Engineer on contract for various companies. Anyway was highly intelligent from my perspective and most people are probably going to struggle if not, even comprehend the required maths of which I have next to no idea.I guess a lot depends obviously on what career you develop. I would also say she was kind of masculine in the sense of being high in conscientiousness and opposing order on her career, although she didn't seem particularly happy. Had lots of stuff, Vintage Valve amplifier, Egyptian Artefacts, Furniture etc Thought it was interesting that a woman could be so masculine in a way. Talked to a woman recently who's an Entrepreneur, business woman of sorts. She told me about a restaurant she opened in New York when she was younger, said she phoned a person about a lease on a building in a prime location for 6 months consistently, had a 3 minute talk with the owner of the property and got the lease. Said to her, so you are Entrepreneur then, said she never thought of herself as that. My point being that perhaps to be an entrepreneur is not to be conscious of being so. Thought it was interesting as it contrasted with a quote I'd listened to on Youtube. "A man of superior virtue is not conscious of being virtuous, hence is truly virtuous." Tao Te Ching Millennials vs Babyboomers: Totally screwed over work wise in the area I live in for entry level jobs. Literally 50% is Eastern European in the area I live in. Tons of BS propaganda and virtue signalling. I've wondered how much a person's psyche can dissolve in a group or by performing acts they find questionable at the time. Whether such a state is recoverable, perhaps the double-think phenomena is related. I don't think that Socrates sacrificed himself for moral virtue, more like giving the middle finger as he entered oblivion. My opinion would be to pump out children if you can, you'll be lonely potentially, if you don't/haven't already? Why the turkey?

  4. Hi, Kristoffer Trolle Ever since you first posted this topic, I have been digging on the internet for data on genetics of pre-communist countries, but I couldn't find any presentable evidence for the pretty obvious fact that genetic composition does change under communism. Genetics is a rather new field, and was certainly not applied before the rise of communism, and was even more certainly not applied during communism. Now... so far I have been only using the word "communism" for a reason. That is because it is a universally accepted theory that Communism is the ultimate form of Socialism. There have been some developments that, safe to speculate have had a considerable effect on the genetics of the population. Here are the big ones. Maybe you will have better luck finding data. 1. Purging of intellectuals: In almost all communist countries, the higher and intellectual classes (you know, the smart ones) were systematically eradicated. I don't think it is a question whether or not that affected the gene-pool. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Purge 2. Cultural Genocide: Socialists generally do not like culture, and are all very big on "progression" and leaving the past behind. This had manifested itself in the destruction of religion, manners, tradition, language and history. Example: The Great Leap Forward. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Leap_Forward 3. Population Control: For some sick reason, people like to control how many of the lowly peasants there are. The old communists were no exception. They promulgated decrees on how many children should be born, shamed women through media who had too many or too few children. We all know about the Chinese One-Child policy, but this has happened and is still happening in all socialistic governments. I posted a reference to a Romanian state action. I'm sure Wuzzums can tell more about it from a personal standpoint. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decree_770 4. Forced Labour Participation: It was literally a felony to not have a job in the old communist states. If I'm not mistaken, maternal leave was restricted to 3 months or even less in most countries. That has no doubt influenced the decisions of many mothers. https://www.jstor.org/stable/1937939?seq=1#page_scan_tab_contents 5. Orchestration of ethnic conflict: Although divide and counquer is an ingenious tactic short term, even Caesar failed at it eventually. Such was the case of Ceausescu of Romania, who tried to blame every problem in his country on the Hungarian minority and other hostile powers threatening the integrity of Romania. In his last speech ever, he does that as he always has, by then however, it has been sorely played out. That said, by this time, the percentage of the Hungarian population was halved compared to the pre-war era. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_Romania 6. Transplantation of Populations: There were some crazy things socialists always fancied doing to ethnic groups, but probably one too much even for Sweden (don't get any ideas, Merkel!) is the literal uprooting of an entire country and its population, and transplanting it thousands of miles away, only to maybe return them to the same location a few years later. An example of this is the expulsion and repatriation of the Chechen population. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aardakh Another example, and most tragic in my opinion, is the displacement of the Germans of Prussia Sudetenland, Silesia, Transylvania, Hungary, Vojvodina, Volga and elsewhere. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flight_and_expulsion_of_Germans_(1944–50) 7. The big one... Feminism. I don't think I need to explain. Unfortunately, I could not find data aside from a book here that addresses the question of labour and women in the USSR It is not for free though, so I haven't read it: http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/0147596783900835

  5. Well, if you like correlation research you can check the research that shows discipline is more important for success than IQ. http://citeseerx.ist.psu.edu/viewdoc/download?doi=10.1.1.152.3790&rep=rep1&type=pdf If success for you is having "a family, children, a good wife, my own land, my own house." then why wouldn't you think you can achieve that when even the low IQ nations have people with all those and more. The way I use correlation research is to raise awareness and take measures to improve what I can. Like if my family has a history of heart disease then I will take every measure I can to assure I tip the scale in my favor. There are many studies that show ways to lower my chance of heart disease, just because my family may correlate doesn't mean it's inevitable. Plus there are always exceptions to the IQ correlations. How do you know if you're not one of them? I can assure you, anything you want to be successful in there are ways to tip it in your favor. There is research that shows things you can do to improve your chances of success. IQ is just one of many. There is no research that shows IQ score = inevitability so there is no reason to feel like so
