My wife wanted to try that one when our 4 year old daughter bit our 2 year old son. I had to explain to how how that would be hypocritical. She still didn't understand what was wrong with it. I asked the director of my daughter's preschool what she thought of it and she said that children have a hard time communicating and sometimes bite out of frustration, but hopefully by the time they are adults they will outgrow it. The implicaton being that my wife hadn't learned to communicate her frustration very well.
