  1. When I have issues like this at my work I will(note this doesn't happen often) ask each child if they have something they would like to tell the other child and try to mediate a solution because like the fights normally start because kids feel they can't express their words on what is happening and maybe this will model how to avoid the fight next time.(before the mediation i ask each child to take a deep breath but it depends on the ages of the children involved) But I am a teacher in a one day a week care center not a parent. Hope this helps.
  2. it reminds me of a few articles i read lately on trustworthiness and would I think would support what @Rainbow is saying "Don't tell kids not to talk to strangers – encourage them to trust their instincts (If we teach children to unlearn their talent for discrimination we are endangering them)" http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/mar/10/kids-talk-to-strangers-trust-instincts-babies-children ‘Intelligent people are more likely to trust others' http://www.ox.ac.uk/media/news_releases_for_journalists/140312.html (I am not sure if this what kind of response you are looking for Rainbow but thought some scientific study would help you make your point)

  5. I was thinking about this a lot and I have seen it on other forms that when a post is edited that it shows what time it was edited number of times edited and a reason for editing. (Some even show the original post) I think this would be useful on fdr because it gives the opportunity to show your thinking process/self knowledge process to others so they can be more aware of what is happening for you Thank you for reading
