I understand but the basic principle of the RBE is, as I heard Fresco say in interviews, to declare the earth's resources as a commons and use computers to allocate them. The algorithm to allocate them is critical to the RBE and must be presented for review and study otherwise the RBE, as they say in software development, is "vaporware". If the algorithm is not presented for peer review and study then TZM followers are just following an illusion which might never work. You can't ask people to give up resources to some centralized system, i.e. the computerized sharing of resources, if the resources will be misused. That's not to say that some of the other things TZM advocates are not good ideas. EDIT: You may be interested in this interview of Fresco on Singularity 1 on 1 http://www.singularityweblog.com/jacque-fresco-the-venus-project Some brilliant scientists may work at NASA but I think NASA as an organization is inefficient and wasteful and unaccountable to those who pay it's bills. And regarding Detroit city I understand what you're trying to imply but you may be very wrong about Detroit, There's a woman who's been blogging about Detroit and she says now that their government has basically collapsed, the people are free (or more free than before) to actually trade in a free market type situation and are beginning to prosper. Only read someof her blog so don't know everything she's saying. See detroitrusttoriches.http://detroitrusttoriches.blogspot.com

Disappointment is an understatement. So basically TZM advocates for the Venus Project. I saw TVP website, many animation, few details. So you're saying Fresco had bad experiences with the patent industry and made his inventions secret? Not that I blame him for his bad experience with the state. So what are we left with? TZM says we should have a RBE but the details of the RBE are a secret and therefore they can't be examined or peer reviewed. So we are expected to accept that the solution to the world's problems is a RBE on faith??

To anyone who knows the answers to the following Can you please post some links to the actual technical solutions proposed by the Zeitgeist Movement RBE? I'm asking for technical details not general paragraph length descriptions. If you can't do that, i.e. provide links, it's likely you're just following an empty cult-like movement. Sorry if you're offended by the "cult-like" reference; didn't mean it as an actual cult but a movement that subsists on spreading false hope to it's followers kind of like the "hopey changey" Obama cult.

LibFedDemRepCon, since your first post and the way you write I though you are not really interested in really getting an answer to your question but rather trying to argue for the statist quo. To me it's apparent that's what you're trying to do by the language and the words you use in your subsequent posts. Still I'm trying to refrain from just calling you a statist and ignoring you. Regardless of your views, and this is a forum so we don't have to agree, you bring up questions that need to be answered. And maybe I'm wrong about your actual views, but as long as you bring up important points I think they should be addressed.

Didn't read all the comments though those videos Pepin posted might be good (haven't seen them yet). One problem I saw in the comments is that you're thinking in 3 dimensions. The theory of relativity is a 4 dimensional theory and that doesn't mean an object moving through the 4th dimension. All 4 dimensions are linked to each other and to energy and mass.

That's a good question though I don't think this is the type of situation that a DRO is best suited for. Your line of argument seems to be leading in how a party can get justice or revenge. Some Austrian scholars have addressed this topic before. I think there are some videos that mention it on the Mises website though I don't remember which ones. Maybe someone knows.

From everything I've heard and read about the Zeitgeist Movement and the RBE it really is Marxism with robots. -
Why is your question for the family of Paul? Don't you want to know how this situation can be prevented or why there might be high risks to Bob's actions or how a DRO would work in this situation?
-
Yes but I didn't recognize the abbreviation. I have a question for you. These DRO, do you think they should be non-profit or for profit and please elaborate why?
-
Ignoring that I think this sounds like flame bait for the moment, since I'm new here can you LibFedDemRepCo describe what is a DRO?

One of the fundamental mistakes Peter Joseph and the Zeitgeist movement makes is one most of us free market anarco-capitalists have made in the past as we tried to navigate the Orwellian statist world that misleads those seeking truth. This is not to discount all of what Peter Joseph and the Zeitgeist movement advocate. I'm watching but haven't seen the whole debate yet. The mistake is the following. He takes as the foundation and definition of ideas and terms about the world the Orwellian double-think that has been perpetuated by the state for decades. In other words he accepts concepts of capitalism, free market, society... that have been distorted by the state as real representations of those terms. Then he tries to "fix" that statist "system" by instituting a new system. Mr. Joseph and the Zeitgeist movement I submit to you that your premise is incorrect. Check your premises.
