The determinst's thinking is pre-determined. If I was able to program some person to think a series of thoughts and arrive at a certain conclusion then it could not be said that that person did any thinking. A think that looks like thinking happened and we might call it thinking but it's just an illusion. There's no rule in the universe that precludes free will or says that everything is causally determined. What does a "society that has accepted" mean?
