why do you think this? i'm not sure it makes sense for many jobs to be independent contracts A plane flight with only independent contracts? so a person would not be dealing with one airline, but a supply chain of many independent contractors? a plane has many people that deal with luggage for instance, each luggage loader with a different independent contract? seems like a lot of work for something where i could go to a employer instead who has employees i think companies have employees because having employees makes sense.

translation?

if someone invented a mind reading machine, and got information people intended to keep private, is that theft and the initiation of force?
-
the thing is, the people that talk about "wage slavery" are the ones that want these laws. they are not free market capitalists. a capitalist might say "slavery to the government" or "tax and regulation slavery", but the problem is government, not the employer
-
do the people that call things wage slavery also call it salary slavery and ownership slavery? don't these people also call for collective bargaining and hate it when companies go to independent contractors?
-
there is no such thing as wage slave.it's a oxymoron. what do you mean dominant? some jobs are better with wages, some jobs are not. so a restaurant would hire a independent barkeeper, a independent chef, a independent server, independent bus people and so on instead of any hired staff or group of owners? i'm not sure that makes sense at all to have independent contractors do every job.

thanks for sharing

help in which way? call for help? nurse him back to health? pay all his medical bills? help incompetently and break his other leg in the process? at what expense? missing ones wife go through labor? losing a deal that keeps you and your family in your house? instead of making a emergency decision about one workers? missing that appointment with a hooker? since the guy is working in security, maybe a security questions could be asked( not sure about his family situation, and i would not exactly ask a question in such a way) if a man falls and breaks his leg, and you get a call that your house has been broken into, and in the fight your wife has killed the intruders, then fell and broke her hip, are you morally obligated to help the man with the broken leg? are you morally obligated to look after your house and family? if you choose one over the other, have you broken your moral obligation?

thanks going through the blog part ill come up with some questions. What about monthly subscription with no reschedules? that way you don't scramble, and don't have people paying for less than 4 lessons a month, although the min of 4 per month can still be done at this scedule where people put their own dates in. Positing wise, one option is fewer, higher motivated , higher paying personal students that audition to be a student. the working some on ebooks a podcasts selling or donations and workshops. thats a cool calender system. what are your current time obligations? has 7 years of public school teaching not giving you enough of a safty net to simply do this full time or whatever time it takes for the next 100 days, ?

this seems to be a completely amoral/ system not thinking about morals at all? all up to personal choice indicates no morals at all. saying someone can just choose to injure another from personal choice, to indicate a tendency for non cooperative efforts, there is no moral philosophy at all here, other from perhaps moral nihilism someone could become a hitman murderer and show the tendency for selective cooperative efforts.

Should Inheritance be Abolished...?

someone could die without assests in a bank or investement, but i don't think someone is going to die without real estate or material possesions. the person is still going to have a car and house and other property that the ownership gets transfered to as the will indicates, and not to the first person that murders or raids property to see if someone if dead or alive.- 129 replies

Coerced Sex Not Uncommon for Young Men, Teenage Boys, Study Finds
cab21 replied to GYre0ePJhZ's topic in Self Knowledge
Pedophilia is prepubescent i dont know how far develuped the 12 year old was, or his relationship with the 18 year old if two 12 year olds have sex, with one saying "it will make you a big boy" or the "it will make you a big girl", are they considered eaqual status just by being 12? 6 years difference in age says nothing about the maturity levels, a 18 year old saying sex will make a person a big boy does not seem any more mature than a 12 year old listening to that. saying people are children till 18 seems like arbitrary number keeping people from maturity. a 12 year old does have, o genrally ought to have, the mental capacity to say no to a 18 year old or other teens or adults. would have to look at family stats, but there is also the case of rebellion when people go through puberty and sexual desire. -

i meant to say "rather than just intercourse" drawing lines for behavior, i would put some of the categories on different sides. being thrown into the bathroom and kissed by force is on the coercive side. a person faking being into sex because of internal obligation is something more on the side of "how could the other person tell" with concern for well being, it;s like the people are doing the opposite of recommended choices with some of these peer pressure- get different friends internal obligation- get self knowledge? statutory rape- well that's a legal statutory thing, case by case basis but could recommend not having the sex sexual seduction- tell them no? then if the person continues leave? substance use- don't use substances physical force- here is one of actual coercian manipulation- choose other people? Verbal pressure- stand your ground if you don't want sex? -

a will has independent confirmation. there are witnesses to a will, a will is registered and held by living people. the living people have evidence, the wrote the will, and signed the will along side the now dead person, and the living people have copies of the will registered. the record of the will would be like any other record of property ownership, such as registration and ownership papers of a car or home or other property and assets. there would be plenty of live people there to confirm and verify the will. people would likely register property in multiple peoples names or to a estate, and thus living people would be the owners of the property.- 129 replies

i figure the technology could be used to heal and for rehab, rather than punishment per say, punishment is something humans have done after crimes as part of a criminal system, so using technology, both the crime in the first place can be worked out, and a better justice system.

looks like this study is on sexuality (including kissing and touching) rather than intercourse so it has examples of what the study considers coercian Verbal pressure "A girl wanted me to do oral sex to her. And begged. But I didn't do it.” Manipulation If my girlfriend is sad about something whether is concerning me or not she pressures me into having sexual intercourse with her” Physical force “. . . I was pushed into a bathroom by a girl and she started kissing me until I made her stop and explained that I didn't like her like that . . .” Substance use “. . . Well she told me she could drink a ton and was giving me double shots to ‘see if I could keep up'. After a couple hours things got blurry and I woke up next to her. Sexual seduction . . . she asked to come in and use the phone because she lost her cell phone. I passed out, she stripped herself then me but I just rolled over and passed out again.” Statutory rape I was coerced into sleeping with an older (woman] because I was told it would make a big boy. I was only 12 at the time the girl was 18 I believe Peer pressure “Friends pressuring me to have sex.” Internal obligation “. . . one time after several days of intercourse I was getting tired and didn't really want to have sex any more but I didn't want to let my partner down so I acted as if I wanted more.” with catagories like that, i am surprissed it's not closer to 100% that would report on of these -

the study almost seems like "government study comes to the conclusion that more money is needed from the government to study more". the number of 18% said by physical force is more of a real coercian stat if true. -

individuals own the results of their labor, unless they have sold it. a individual writes a contract saying where the individuals labor is to go to. the contract is a logical legitimization of inheritance. the will of a person is logical, it sets a time period of transfer of titles the person signed the contract when the person was alive in order to change the contract, it needs the persons signature dead people don't give signatures, so the contract signed when the person was alive is the contract the estate must fulfill. even with two live people that make a contract, they don't get to then decide to follow the contract or not, that is breech of contract, one person dieing does not make it no longer a breech of contract.- 129 replies
