  1. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121649 I found this card, And it seems fairly good, What do you all think? Also, I have a Gigabyte-GA-970A-D3 mother board, I dunno if there is any problems with that.
  2. Can someone please help me decide between three Graphics Cards? I am not sure which is best for my purposes, And I am not certain if the slightly better specs between them are really worth the increase in cost. Also, I am worried about the good, And bad reviews they have.Basically, I'm looking for the best Graphics card I can get, For under 200 dollars. I will use this graphics card for gaming, And mining litecoins and feathercoins. Possibly bitcoin like crypto-currencies too, Though, I highly doubt that. Definitely litecoins/feathercoins, And gaming though. Here is what I've found so far.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150642http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161406http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125451Here is where I found the cardhttps://litecoin.info/Mining_Hardware_Comparison
  3. Hmm, I've tried that Q program, And it sort of kind of runs some things for a few seconds, But it generally has issues and crashes. Also, I couldn't find any PPC version of virtual box through those old versions you listed.
  4. My friend has a PPC Mac, And he needs a virtual machine so he can run other operating systems, Such as linux systems. However, I've hardly been able to find any, And the one I did find (Q), While it installed, Did not work when ever I tried it really.
  5. Okay, Thank you so much! I understand so much more about this now! However, I think I would consider the Soviet Union socialist though. Especially because, The black market is not legal, While it would support the Ruble, It wouldn't change the nature of the Government, Or economy at large. Which was socialist, It was just socialism with a looooottttt of heroin. My question is though, Now, Why did anyone care about the Ruble at all, and why did they stop caring? Also, Why was the Soviet Union so specifically fascistic and insane? (Homosexuality was outlawed, There were work camps, Concentration camps, Gulags, Etc.) Why? Hmm, I do know almost every "President" or "Supreme Soviet" was born before the revolution, Except for Gorbachev. But, Why would the people support their insanity? (Now I'm thinking of making a thread about the fire works that was Nazi germany, As in, Loud, Scary, Painful, And short.)
  6. I wanted to say that, yeah, Property rights do not exist as an object, Or modification of an object in objective reality, They exist as a concept in our mind. As property rights is a subject of morality. Morality is only binding to things that understand it. No one says that, I own my house, Therefore reality changes. Therefore astroids bounce off of it. They say, I own my house, Therefore, People change. If you own a house, No one can just set it on fire. I own my body, Therefore, I cannot be raped. Obviously people can physically do it, People can burn down their own house too, People can mix chemicals incorrectly. Or believe in gods. But they are wrong for doing it. Property, And morality, Exist as language does, In the minds of human beings, and any other intelligent life form that understands it for that matter. We do not say that, Language is subjective, Or invalid because it does not exist in objective reality. We just accept that, Shouting at a falling rock does not make it alter direction, Unless you're playing Skyrim.
  7. main() is ALWAYS int, I don't entirely know why yet, But it is ALWAYS supposed to be int. He is aware he has an infinite loop, He did that on purpose. Can you please tell us about the "issues"? We are both learning together. I don't know why that would be weird, and I've never seen any other programmers on here besides him, And myself.
  8. Oh my god Cheryl! That was a beautiful statement! I did feel really sad too, I think that was really accurate. *hugs*
  9. *hugs you tightly* I am so so sorry! That is absolutely awful! He is a horrible insane person! Why the hell would anyone say that to their son? Also, You didn't have a "colourful" history around religion, You had an abusive one. *hugs* I don't think he really cares about you at all, And I am so sorry about that. You don't owe him ANYTHING! He is the person who created you, And accepted all of the obligations of creating a new, Dependent, Human being. And he did not fufill them at all! He owes you! You don't owe him anything! You've already done so much, You are NOT giving up too early, I don't see him as ever changing. Also, I am so sorry for your emotional numbness, It's something I've been working through too, And it is terrible. *hugs* I don't know what else to really say besides that, I'm just really sorry you have to deal with this. I do want to help in any way possible, But, I don't really know how. Well, You have me to talk to! Any time you want! I hope you're sleeping well! - Valeska
  10. I don't know of any similar packages to my program, And I wasn't able to find the library online. The library is intregral to the program, So I can't just fake it.
  11. Alright everyone! I'm compiling a program on Ubuntu 13.04, However, This program is slightly old, And it asks for the apparently non-existent ipt_conntrack.h library. Specifically, It gives this error message. In file included from igs.c:42:0:mark.h:6:48: fatal error: linux/netfilter_ipv4/ipt_conntrack.h: No such file or directorycompilation terminated.make[3]: *** [igs.o] Error 1make[3]: Leaving directory `/home/missvaleska/Documents/Netsukuku/netsukuku-0.0.9b/src'make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/missvaleska/Documents/Netsukuku/netsukuku-0.0.9b/src'make[1]: *** [all] Error 2make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/missvaleska/Documents/Netsukuku/netsukuku-0.0.9b/src'make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 However! It functions with the packaged version on Ubuntu 12.04, Which, Also, Does not function here. Can anyone help me figure out what I need to do in order to fix this problem?
  12. I've read a bit on Nuclear Pulse Propulsion, And I am curious, Couldn't the fallout effects be avoided by creating a first stage, Being a chemical rocket, In order to get the vehicle into orbit? Also, Is an orbit necessary with such a powerful machine? Couldn't one just fly directly towards the celestial body one wishes to orbit/land on?
  13. Hmmm, I don't understand though, Why didn't the Soviet Union do the same thing? Also, Why does the U.S go to war so much? Don't they know it will kill them? It wastes a massive amount of money, And kills millions of people, Including their own soldiers, And all they get is some extra patriotism, And then, Eventually, They anti-war movement grows again.
  14. Well, People have done it before by compiling certain java or openjdk versions. But I haven't been able to do that exactly. Lubuntu does run on PPC computers still by the way, But thank you.
  15. Hello everyone! I have been trying for a very long time to get java 6 at LEAST on my friend's PowerMac G5 running Mac OSX Leopard. But, I haven't found much on it, If anyone can help me, I'd very much appreciate it! I've tried installing Lubuntu, And I'll try that again soon. Also, I haven't found a functional Virtual Machine for his machine, if you know of one, Please tell me. Thank you for reading!
