As written (not as enforced), the US income tax is NOT unconstitutional because when one reads the ACTUAL laws, the income tax applies to very few. For a definitive guide to the US income tax see Dave Champions book "Income Tax: Shattering the Myths" http://www.incometaxtruth.com/. For example, most "americans" are NOT "US Persons" as defined in the tax code...
