  1. ask them if they see government officials out there building roads or government officials doing medical surgery. if they say no, then point out how it's always the companies and contractors whom do the work. Where the money comes from is important, but just because the government doesn't fund it, doesn't mean there will be no funding. As long as there is a demand, there will be money.
  2. They are young, and yes damage has been done, but it can be fixed to some degree. There is tons of research out there from Dr. Laura Markham and other peaceful parenting information hubs. I must note that when changing parenting styles, there are many things that become harder before they become easier. I suggest finding a therapist for both you and your wife, to start changing your world with kindness and goodness!
  3. When I see someone with a tattoo, I wonder if they thought of the long term when they got it. I wonder what their capacity was to understand the long term was when they got that tattoo? I think that by definition, to get a tattoo means to destroy cells somewhere on someone's body to replace it with something "better." I do not think this is a moral question, but a question of functionality and evaluation of compatibility between myself and other people. I am a single male, 25, who is trying to see the virtue through the boobs. I want to know, and come to understand what causes such a degree of self destruction, and I imagine that all the people around were condoning you doing it to some degree, or are the specific reason that you regretfully had so much pain, from a bad choice that you chose. It may come off as judgmental, and it certainly isn't a moral argument, or even a moral question to be sure. I apologize if this seems offensive, as I'm sure it will. I really think this is an important question, and shows us that we should pay attention to what we see, to empirical facts, reason, logic and evidence of behavior. This is just my thoughts and I would love to be shown I'm wrong. Don't give me the exceptions though, I want to know if you think I should not pay attention to this symbol that they have created, this idea that was so powerful they needed it on their body. I want to understand the air that they breathe, that is if they are the mother of my children.
  4. Add me, Beastlyman#1933
  5. The whole reason sociopaths exist is because those genes are highly adaptive. Sociopathic tendencies can be potentially elicited in all of us at a certain point. Nietzsche fondly points out that we are still ALL still animals, even if we are human animals, with great capacity by his quote, "We are human, all too human." I would add, that we are GODS that shit. We have great capacity, but at the end of the day we must sleep, and be 100% vulnerable to the world. I think certain degrees of violence can illicit sociopathic tendencies. I wouldn't say that everyone exhibits them, but I would say, most people exhibit them many times a day. Sociopathy is on the rise, the society we have currently is breeding this type of violence, and it's very important to be aware, that we all have great capacities for violence and becoming corrupt. This is why true vulernability and connection must be instilled through peaceful parenting. We all have capacity for making mistakes and having illusions instead of truths. My answer to this question is yes and with that I want to say that if you have virtue in your actions and your behavior, then you forever have my fullest support and acceptance wholly. There is an incredible difference between displaying the memetics of psychopathy vs. actually being unable to feel empathy. SOCIOPATHS ARE NOT ALL BAD PEOPLE. They just don't experience the world the same. Sociopaths are incredibly brilliant, and they can do good in the world. Unlike the rest of us, they dont really get a high or aroused from helping others. So for them, it is a sort of interesting thing. There are many sociopaths in history that have helped improve the world, many which you prolly never thought of. We are not born into a monster, we are made into one. And like a monster, we can't change our appearance or our past, but we can change our behavior for the future. (:
  6. Bahahahaha. Racket is in my car!!
  7. It is their attempt at making you ghost. It is their attempt to put you in a subjective state of mind. It's peoples ways of minimizing your concerns and issues. It's people's way of saying that don't love you and can't love you
  8. blame the child for your choices. great idea, not
  9. Hello, my name is benji (: I am a very driven person who loves to stay busy and meet new people (: . I just graduated with my bachelors degree in psychology with a minor in special education. I chose this path because I think it truly is the best way for me individually to help people and to spread the knowledge of goodness (: .In regards to what I do for fun, I love to play soccer. I have played for the UNC men's soccer team throughout my college career, which I will miss once I graduate. Although, I have just joined a Fort Collins coed soccer team!! AND IT IS SOO MUCH FUN!! hehe... I love to be active and routinely involve myself in different sports clubs and programs in order to live my life to the fullest (: . Most of all I love goodness/virtue, morality, and love. I spend most of my days researching and learning about new therapeutic methods in hopes to begin to add some good into this world (:. Simply I love knowledge, morality, honesty, and integrity. these are the some of the most important principles that make up the nature of who and what I am. Interestingly, I do enjoy partying and letting loose. But I am finding thats not exactly what makes me happy in all honesty. Although, I am very extroverted and can be the life of the party. hehe. Thusly, I enjoy long walks that involve lots of talking, i routinely video tape conversations I have, in order to preserve those moments that we all love, that we all wish to last forever (: .... What i loev most of all is creating and maintaining a deep and loving connection based on honesty. I am currently seeking a 100% honest and open relationship. Specifically my standards for relationships are only 3 honesty, courage, and kindness. These are the standards by which I am currently seeking a romantic partner and friends in my life. If your curious about anyone of my standards. I will love to discuss them further (: ... life is a series of challenges, but having people who you can share those hard occasions with is something that will only make those obstacles easier and more fun to climb together (: .... So what do you say? message me and lets do some climbing. hehe hehe, I simply love to love, . I do have a plan for the future, but of course, life and everything is always subject to change at any moment, so embrace the change, as no doubt, IT IS a beautiful time to LIVE!.... Also, I am a health nut so to speak. Eating healthy, working out, and maintaining my physical health is a very important quality of my life. (:, .... , In observation of my "Benji Nature" I am truly a cuddle bug and especially enjoy cuddling my fluffy puppy Charles, hehe. I have been told that i am a soft warm hearth to entertain ideas and enlighten the harder issues that many of us struggle with. for example, relgion, politics, life and death, purpose of life, these are all some of the most important things THAT ARE NEVER TALKED ABOUT!! therefore my goal is to change the world ........... with 1 tool love/empathy. and love is what i am seeking (: although, that will take time, so please know that truly, we are just becoming friends, because best friends make the best, life time lovers (:
  10. Hello, my name is Benji, and I'm looking for a good woman to get to know and explore life with. My desire with a woman is to establish a strong, loving, empathetic, relationship in which both of us can grow and express ourselves, and our feelings, preferences and emotions to one another peacefully and constructively. I am seeking a kind and gentle woman as I am a kind and gentle man who is full of life, energy and spunk. I graduated last May from U.N.C. where I majored in Psyhcology and minored in Special Education which lead me to work as a Special Edcation teacher for a time. With my Psychology specialization, and Special Education training, I would like to pursue a career in the mental health field, or possibly teach special needs children as I feel I have many talents to be a good Psychologist for my potential patients, and to be a supportive, caring teacher to special needs children. In my personal beliefs, I am an atheist and do not believe in, nor do I worship any gods, and I would prefer to meet a woman who is an atheist also. I treasure the intellectual process, the use of intellegence, logic and reason to communicate with others and to gain knowledge about myself, life and the world around me, and these are requirements that I have and look for in a potential life partner. On a fun note, I enjoy sports, weight lifting, getting together with friends for good times and laughs, and being with my golden doodle dog Charles who adds love and sweetness to my life daily. My goal is to daily live a good and virtuous life of helping myself and others while I leave a positive mark on the world and those around me, and now, I'm just looking for a good woman to include in my life and share my world with.
  11. I find it very interesting indeed that you point out that physical beauty is apart of us biologically. I couldn't agree more that a virtuous woman would be the most attractive and beautiful woman in my eyes. Thus I retract my statement and submit both of you are completely right. It is in my hopes that through philosophy I will be able to see through any aesthetic beauty to that of their virtue. And judge how beautiful they are on that accord. Although, I am not perfect and at this point in my life I do struggle in this area. Honestly, thank you so much for calling me out. I really needed that, and appreciate your honesty (: . It truly means the world to me (: hehe. I hope you wouldn't mind messaging me. Regardless of your intentions to date or be friends. Because individuals like you two are truly rare (: . I am soo happy that I posted this and have been throughout humbled through you "calling me out." (: . I hope you guys just have a wonderful beautiful day of positive energy (: hehe.
  12. Hi my name is benji. I am writing this in hopes of finding the woman of my dreams. I just graduated from college in may. I obtained my bachelors degree in psychology with a minor in special education. I am looking for a long term relationship of honesty, courage, and kindness. These specifically are the standards that I hold for all of my relationships be them romantic, friendship, or family. (Insert large monolige explanation) hehe. Thusly, things like beauty are petty and of little importance. I seek a woman whom is interested in obtaining her own highest potentialialty. I currently am an entrenpenuer as I have just quit working in the public school industry. My goal is to be a therapist. And I hope to finish writing the book I have recently started about parenting. I love to play sports and have played soccer all my life. I am very active and very healthy!! Lastly I require a woman whom can laugh and have fun! I am very active and am constantly seeking new experiences to enhance and change perspective. I am very open minded and love to travel amd go on hikes with my fluffy golden doodle charles (: .
  13. thank you for a good laugh
  14. We should get together, and start by discussing light ideas, and have some fun. Maybe we could enjoy a picnic on UNC campus. I am very open to crticism here. And hope that many of you simply want to change the world with goodness. If this is someone whom you think you are.. lets have a little conversation, and with groups. anything is possible. When alone, nothing is possible... In regards to changing the world with goodness. Respectfully, Benji
