I do think the link between state suppression regarding psychedelics and the disruption of state controlled society by psychedelics (hippy era) is pretty interesting. People who have done psychedelics in a structured manner with an objective to find stuff out do seem to have become proto-anarchists and come to a place where they value community, bonding and empathy. And it seems helpful for traumatized people, to resolve (childhood) traumas.
