what is love? to me is a fundamental question.can we cultivate love? (grow it)when someone tells us they love us are they doubting their love for us? I'm rapidly coming to the realization the term love is greatly overused in many situations & not expressed correctly, over recent years the term 'making love' is used. in my mind love should not be in line with sex in this way, sex is beautiful & allows us to express love, but I don't think we make love this way & it can cause confusion with lust. I believe this could be a reason people seek love through sexual interactions. any thoughts?

you are correct dsayers I'm sorry I didn't answer the question, did I ? *Are you in touch with what from your childhood has led you to the conclusion that monogamy is bad * No, there is nothing from my childhood that makes me believe monogamy is bad for me. happiness is a product of what? if i entered the world a blank state what perceived this state? (babies experience emotion in the womb). just to reiterate, I do not think monogamy is bad for me & can someone please explain to me why people keep assuming that others; A have a problem & B it goes back to their childhood? it's like a common thing to assume here, I understand how digging into the past for some people might help them psychologically, but I've noticed if someone says 'no it's nothing to do with my childhood' others keep banging on about it like its the root cause of every issue.

may be it's in our nature to be sexually free?making love is not having sex, some can be in a loving healthy relationship & have sex outside that relationship & 99% of those couples stay together. every single person in a relationship now has sexual thoughts about someone other than their partner. I could never be in a relationship where I'm physically bound to just 1 man! yes It's okay for the 1st 8 - 12 months, but the idea of another entity having that level of ownership over my body is...harrowing to me, I don't sleep around but I am free! can you imagine being in a loving relationship with a partner' & having no pressures RE fidelity.... bliss!as long as its safe (obviously) & mutually consensual there is no harm live life!

For me karma is not a mystical force there are things our brains can not yet understand & those that can't or don't want to understand this try to associate these things with Religion of mysticism. ( lets keep our minds open to the simple fact we don't know all the facts ) karma doesn't even justify reification, it just is!an example would be everyone born in China believe in Chi, there is good sky chi, bad sky chi!there is good wok chi & bad wok chi, there is also the chi life energy that flows through the meridian timetable, throughout our bodies & there is no evidence yet that this chi exists but if a nation believes it exists then it's effects become reality.do our Governments exist? there is evidence that patients, through positive thinking & visualization heal faster & live longer. only psychopaths do not believe in karma, karma effects everyone else weather they like it or believe in it in my opinion karma is the invisible glue of society.

I'm not saying we are required, but we are morally obligated.if we have a gun to our heads its the easy thing to say 'it's now out of our hands & were relieved of responsibility'. Philosophy means truth, and it's a great thing to be a truth seeker, but it's another thing to act upon that truth. may be it's a personal thing for me, but the second I learned my council tax £ was being used to burn the skin from women & babies it wasn't even a question I would die before I funded the war machine. I suppose if I had let it go then I would be in a great job right now, with a nice car & a large screen TV instead of struggling but I have something more. What is the point in seeking the truth if we do not act upon it? only when we break the mindset of self-preservation'' & start to help each other will things really change.
