One thing I like to say. Kids can be agressive or destroy things when they eat or in this case drink. There's a study where they found children to be more likely to be agressive and destroy property when the child drank soda pop frequently. Also there's a study where food color makes children hyper action. I also strong believe chemicals like MSG can make people agressive. If these parents are spanking children for misbehaving. These parents should be punished for feed children chemicals that make them agressive and misbehave in the first place. http://www.happy-mothering.com/02/health-2/nutrition-health-2/beyond-allergies-why-food-dyes-may-cause-child-behavioral-problems/ http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/264943.php http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/575996

Don't worry kids you can eat anything you want as long you take medicine and watch television. You know it's more of the lifestlye of Americans not the just the diet. Average American watches at least 4 hours of television a day. Sorry but that's including youtube. Even when diet was changed to a healthy diet, a person watching televison has health problems. For every hour of television watched on the average you lose 20 minutes of your life. Honestly I don't think it's lack of exercise because reading for long durations doesn't have that kind effect on health. People exercise less and less even people who go to the gym. I used to exercise a lot now I just do about at least 30 minutes daily btw I used to exercise 4 hours a day. There's more I can talk about however I don't want to bore people to tears as I ramble on and on.

Top 5 bullying myths: What you don't know about bullying
CrazyCanuck replied to Wesley's topic in Self Knowledge
Because kids can get around firewalls, and things like Opendns services that help sites not even resolving. The problem is that unless you have pretty good knowledge about these things it's will be very difficult. If they can't install any software due to not having admin access they can download tails which is a live cd with tor proxy. If the parents are smart enough to disable cd/dvd burning the child can go to a library, friend or order one off the internet. http://forumaboutproxy.com/general-discussions/lesson-5-how-to-bypass-firewall-and-see-blocked-web-sites-(for-advanced-users)/ https://tails.boum.org https://www.torproject.org- 12 replies

Sorry you had to go through such a rough time. I'm shocked this happened to you. I used to go to Catholic church because I was nagged to go by my parents. Sometimes I would eat the cracker but usually I didn't. Nobody said anything if I didn't. People were very kind to me so I don't know. I knew people that claimed to be Catholic but they fought each other constantly, drank excessively, had sex with multiple people and gamble. These people aren't Catholic they just claim to be. Just going to church and studying the bible doesn't make a person Catholic. This man who was rude to use obviously wasn't wise. Gluten interolance is very common now since there's all kind of gluten free foods. If I was there I would have spoke up. I don't go anymore but if a friend asked me to if they asked me enough times. It's just wrong for people do that he could have said that privately. Obviouly he lacks love and wisdom. I wouldn't take a person like him personally. You showed strength, tolerance, compassion.

Self worth and not putting up with abuse
CrazyCanuck replied to Kevin Beal's topic in Self Knowledge
Those are general broad examples. What did the person say? What did you say? Were you screaming or raising your voice? What was the conflict was about and how did you resolve with anger. I can talk in general terms too but it's too vague. I am not asking for something difficult here. Show men proof by giving an example how you resolved with anger. Precise example. Let's say I don't disagree with you but that doesn't tell me how you did it or how I could do it for myself. For example you could say that your girlfriend is yelling at you for not doing some of your chores. But you work 14 hours day and she just works the normal 8 hours. You feel you don't deserved to be yelled at and belittled. So you get mad and you ………. Something a long those lines. If you aren't precise I don't have a clue how you resolve it.- 15 replies

Self worth and not putting up with abuse
CrazyCanuck replied to Kevin Beal's topic in Self Knowledge
You're being vague. I give precise example what went on and how I deal with it. Maybe you don't understand? There is a process, you work at it like anything it's like a muscle. You think you won't get angry but you are being test. I used to get angry over little things those things no long bother me. Since it doesn't bother me it doesn't stresses me out. Once I deal with my last one I will be tested again. Every I got angry it's made things worse. I resolved them by having higher moral standard and looking within. If you paid attention when you got angry and how it affected your life you will see it's not so great. Besides I can easily forgive so I don't have to suffer for so long.- 15 replies

Top 5 bullying myths: What you don't know about bullying
CrazyCanuck replied to Wesley's topic in Self Knowledge
Ok I know you didn't say this but I have read that people on here think religion is evil. Scare mongering ( you will go to hell for your sins) , manipulating and brain washing people. Now you're telling these people are honesty, truthful and far from the things I have been told. Thanks?- 12 replies

Self worth and not putting up with abuse

I mean something you can prove, meaning links. I don't agree with many professional claiming anger is healthy. That would be like saying poison is healthy in small amounts.- 15 replies

Self worth and not putting up with abuse

Anger never helped me and when i was a kid if I was to be angry because people hurt me I would be angry constantly. It's not just my parents that hurt me. My sister caused problems so did some of my teachers. Kids giving me a hard time and more. I made bag judgements when I got angry even if was other aspect of my life. In business especially when you deal with the public you can't get angry at them and tell me off. You lose customers. Sometimes I get frustrated and that's not good either. I try to tone it down with peeve. I'm more calm and tend to make better judgements. I don't know any business people making good business decision with anger. If you think anger helps show me an example where anger helped at all. You failed to show me real world example how anger helped someone. In martial arts you even slightest angry you lose concentration and you perform not as well. My sister made a lie about me and my aunt stabbed me in the back. But they are the ones stressed over and angry. i know because she talked crap about me. The sad fact my sister been back stabbed by my aunt shows it. My aunt been even mean to her students. She is so unhappy with her life and angry at people. Her husband died a few years ago but this is going overboard. She has more than enough money, things you she wants, she has more friends and others who care deeply about her yet she is the one is miserable. I was really angry eventually, I failed most people would have been angry long ago. Now I look at it it was petty things. She just has negativiity and been too much to even to talk to. Once I realize it was something wasn't worth getting angry over I was calm and made rational decisions. I can say this I gave her the fair chance more chances than I go give most people. Life is too short to be angry I have better things to do. The autocorrect feature on my browser is "peeving" me.- 15 replies

What do you do when you hear children crying?
CrazyCanuck replied to FriendlyHacker's topic in Peaceful Parenting
It's hardly to tell many cases sometimes kids cry because they were playing and getting hurt. I never this one couple with kids and the crying wasn't the same. It really sounded like the children were abused. These people were noisy people to begin with. The thing was I couldn't call the police because they would use other people and themselves to make noise to disturb me and even kick my door frequently. I don't know if they moved but I don't hear them or see them anymore. My other neighbour are pretty bad getting their children to bad things and then yelling at them frequently, having loud parties. I think these children might be physically abused also but it's really hard to tell when they are making so much noise to begin with.
