Just as the title states, the download for the most recent call-in show isn't functional. I get that thing where you click the download button and it just gives you and exclamation mark (!) where it shows the download progress. Thank you.

Wow. Not much else to say, really.

Best series ever. I found it early in my discovery of Stefan, and it really sealed my affinity for him/FDR. Such crucial stuff that you generally won't hear elsewhere.

Yeah, that makes total sense. I wonder if he's opposed to it being on YouTube, though. Based on things said in the past, I'm assuming no, but I'm surprised nobody has put them up. I would--and I will, if that's cool--but I don't want to do something with someone elses content that they might not approve of, hence raising the topic.

Hey, Mike, Stef, and/or whoever this may concern. I was wondering why podcasts #584 and #585 aren't uploaded to YouTube. As the topic title suggests, they are the ones having to do with Jesus. The reason I ask is that when I listened to these a few months ago, I had a really profound takeaway from them, so I'm wondering if they're being intentionally buried or what have you. I didn't know how to feel about them initially, but I listened to them each several times and they've had powerful effects on me in a differing and progressive way each time. Hearing Stef cackle his way through the crucifixion story, and so on, was a bit off-putting to someone who hadn't fully deprogrammed. But, as inciteful as they were, they also were a great tool to help the deprogramming process. So that's all. It's not a complaint or anything like that. Just wondering if there's a reason or if its just been overlooked. Thanks a lot, and take care.

So are you in the early stages at the moment? I apologize if you already stated, but I didn't see it.

Cops In Texas Seize Millions By 'Policing for Profit'
Jeff W. replied to Alan C.'s topic in Current Events
Florida's the worst. There whole system is for profit, and they skate around the laws that nearly all other states go by. What's worse is they confiscate the property of people busted for drugs to profit on that as well. Texas is awful, but its just now maturing and still years behind the poiice state the Florida is. Arizona is getting there, too. And if you didn't notice a pattern, all bright red Republican states. -
I'd been feeling this way, myself, until fairly recently. Instead of cutting most old people out, what I did was go on Stefan's page and find people that comment that I took to and I started sending friend requests out. I did this several times and now have a Facebook page I really like. Its all about how you populate it. I haven't yet looked for other avenues to find more, but I'm certainly open to it. Is it More Annoying to Debate Religious People or Statists?
Jeff W. replied to Wesley's topic in General Messages
Hard to tell. They're very similar, but probably religious people. Statists at least twist real things, where as the religious dangle the impossible over you. -
But...but...they didn't do it right.

'F**k the EU': Tape Reveals US Runs Ukraine Opposition

Wow. Well I feel bad following a novel with this but... Every time I see that woman, she looks more evil than the previous time. -
Cleveland School to Drug Test Every Student...
Jeff W. replied to Jeff W.'s topic in General Messages
You're correct in not following it. I've been a bit under the weather and missed this clear oversight. My point was... Well, it doesn't matter because you corrected it. -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZY8xf1uJOqI This guy actually has serious hold over peoples lives, which makes him far scarier. He wears his fire and brimstone evil openly. I'm really not sure what else to say until more people watch this, but please do.

Cleveland School to Drug Test Every Student...
Jeff W. replied to Jeff W.'s topic in General Messages
That's definitely a conversation worth having. I was in the unfortunate position of going to a private Lutheran school from 2nd grade until H.S. We were poor, but my grandparents paid for it, so I was in the increased unfortunate position of being the poor kid amongst all the rich kids, which is probably why I have a heightened sense of humor (I had to have something to offer.) Anyways, my point I'm trying to get to is that Christian private school was horrendous--even more so than the public schools in our area. It was a complete assault on every aspect of one's character, and that's why this story hit me. The environment in one of these schools is already one of meatgrinding guilt and this just seems like a pile on. Sorry, I'm a bit tired and jumble brained right now so my writing is as scattered as my thoughts. I have to disagree with you on you second paragraph, though. Adults have put up with this for about two decades now. You pretty much can't get a job anywhere without being subjected to a series of drug tests. You name it. Other than higher up white collar employment, you're almost garaunteed a drug test. A job I held for nine years required random tests that added up to once every couple months. So yes, adults have been dealing with it. -
Cleveland School to Drug Test Every Student...
Jeff W. replied to Jeff W.'s topic in General Messages
Part of me is unsure how to feel about it. It's obviously wrong on some level, though they have a right since its a private school. Therefore, I think the bigger issue is that not even the small band of parents will band together to protest with their dollars. That's all it would take. -

Reproductive Deception / Terrible Twos
Jeff W. replied to corpus mentium's topic in General Messages
I like (not really) the "I want to raise an independent young lady" (paraphrasing) BS. I want her to be independent but she just won't submit. Sigh... -
Bravo, Casey. I agree with the overall sentiment in here as a generality, but I don't think the philosophy totally pans out. As EndTheUsurpation noted, relationships shouldn't be predicated on whether our genitals tingle or not. Stringing men along like in that video obviously pushes the argument in that direction, but that's not to say that men and women can't have an upfront relationship in which the groundrules are laid out in the beginning and the relationship goes from there. There are plenty of (non-sexual) things I'd like to do with my guy friends all the time that aren't always possible but that doesn't mean that the relationship overall is impossible.

If reality offends you, maybe you shouldn't be on FDR?
Jeff W. replied to ZMorris's topic in General Messages
This topic should be pinned. I didn't read through the entire thing but, based on the OP, it is clear that the thread creator seems to narcissitically mix up "his" version of philosophy with actual philosophy--meaning that anyone that may disagree with anything he has to say or doesn't add to his way of saying something is somehow offensive to him. He's projecting. There is zero empathy in his approach. -
Pope asks forgiveness for ‘evil’ of child abuse by priests
Jeff W. replied to Wesley's topic in Current Events
Right...but that's not typically how these things play out. My comment was sarcastic because in all likelihood he thinks the apology is enough and that "I'm sorry" or "we're sorry," or what have you, makes it a moot issue of expected forgiveness. -
