Hi all, From the March 30th call-in show, there was a 4-5min section of it where Stef asks "where is Muslim guilt?". I thought this is was such a great point that I took that little section and uploaded it to YouTube. Please feel free to share this short, but powerful excerpt to your wider social community. I have another another excerpt for an earlier show, where Stef does the "Polar Bear analogy". The playlist is here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLTxEb-XHEwx9jt2S--TwQvCkh2kRUay2O I will be continuing to make excerpts from shows, plus my own videos of course, so I'd love some subscribers! Thanks

Contructive feedback wanted on my first video

Hey Matt, Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately the rattling sound you hear is coming from the camera. Its the auto focus mechanism at work. The camera I use (Canon Gx7) has some great pros but this its its main con and mentioned by anyone who has reviewed it. In quieter moments, you can really hear the gears at work! Joe -
Hi Nick and Vudewnl, Thanks very much for your feedback on my first video, it was really helpful. NICK: You're a stacker! Excellent to read that, I've been an investor in precious metals since late 2010. I say metals, but really I mean metal. I'm all silver! I subscribed to your YT channel, keep them coming! In regards to what you said about the pace of my speech, you're quite right, it could have been faster. VUDEWNL: Addressing the first part of your reply, I know how you feel. Its hard to predict exactly where the "fire" will strike and how bad it will be. This is my next video, its about the coming economic collapse. I've sped up my speech and did some editing to make it feel faster paced. Thanks again for your feedback, always happy to hear more!

Hi everyone, After listening to the recent show #3219 "Why Libertarians Fail The Sh!t Test" in which Stef gave a great rant about commitment and certainty, it has sprung me into action. I have been "half-assing" it, being somewhat of a poser. I haven't been fully committing to spreading reason, evidence, consistency, philosophy. So I made the below video the next day. Its my confession of guilt and a promise to amend my half-assing ways. My promise to the world to commit fully. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1dWsXiLjkI It is currently an unlisted video on YouTube. I plan to publish it this coming week, but before I do I would very much love any constructive feedback you guys may have. About the coherence of the content, or from a technical perspective, I'm open to all constructive feedback. I truly believe Stef, Mike, Stoyan and you, the greater FDR community, do the best work in the realm of philosophy and bringing reason and evidence to the world. You guys are my benchmark. If you have the time to spare, I would love to hear from you. Even just a few words. Thanks very much

Hi all, I shared "The Science of Spanking" podcast (youtube link) on my Facebook this morning and just got the following comment from a friend: ********************* "I believe It's really hard for people without kids to post this sort of stuff & have people with kids give them any credibility.I smack my kids, but when you do have kids you'll see that there are a million instances of grey area other than "smacking is bad"...I learnt that myself with 3 kids under 6.For example the last time I smacked my oldest who is now 5 was about 2 years ago when she ran across the road after I told her not to...I could not be politically correct when it came to her life being on the line...It's this sort of thing people without kids don't think of when they say smacking is wrong." *********************** I want to reply underneath her comment with the men/wives word replacement idea: *********************** I believe It's really hard for men without wives to post this sort of stuff & have men with wives give them any credibility.I hit my wife, but when you do have a wife you'll see that there are a million instances of grey area other than "hitting my wife is bad"...I learnt that myself with my wife. For example the last time I hit my wife was about 2 years ago when she ran across the road after I told her not to...I could not be politically correct when it came to her life being on the line...It's this sort of thing men without wives don't think of when they say hitting is wrong. *********************** Just wanted your thoughts on my re-wording and if you feel it needs tweaking? The only thing that I think may need to change is the running across the road part. Should I change it to another circumstance? Thanks for your time in advance! This is my first post on the board, I'm excited! Cheers, Joseph
