HI all, I have a coworker that is a incredibly sexually irresponsible woman with like 5 kids from 3 different fathers. She brought up her eldest son asking for dating advice among which girls to date up to and including a 19 year old. So i asked her, where's the father(absent), is their any male adult figure(nope grandpa uninterested). Then I told her of course her son isn't going to listen to you and turn his criticism on your bad choices. Anyway, I was going to link a video or something that can open up this young man to the effect of his faithlessness and so on, because I've shared Stef's videos about spanking with her in the past. What's a good one to start with for this 15 year old young man. Thanks, Tyr

Parent to child: you aren't my friend if you don't.....
Tyr replied to regevdl's topic in Peaceful Parenting
Exactly. Social Ostracism means "I will leave you to die" to a child. It is the cruelest thing in the world you can do to any human being. If you've done any therapy like I have to remember how these things feel in the moment, I remember it literally feeling like "I"m going to die". It's the same level as what I feel when near miss avoiding car accidents or falling from a height, etc..- 7 replies

Ridiculous, if you're child is lying to about something this important you have already failed as a parent. If your child is afraid to report sexual abuse to you, you have failed as a parent. Children do not just become "deceivers" this is something that is trained. "It could happen to anybody" is absolutely false. Children that have an unshakable bond with their parents will NEVER deceive them about the character of their friends and a parent that fails to vet their child's friends in being willfully neglectful.

Do you think ABA therapy for autism is abusive?
Tyr replied to iuliuspro's topic in Peaceful Parenting
Of course putting them in school made them aggressive. This is what happens to all children in public schools. All children nee individual attention from their parents, being separated from your mother at a young age and put in a school for most of the day is abuse in and of itself.- 10 replies

Promoting Voluntarism Through Genital Integrity
Tyr replied to J. D. Stembal's topic in Peaceful Parenting
Hey my friend. I want to say first that I really appreciate and admire your bravery and work on the subject. I'm circumcised as well and this is a very important topic for me because it ultimately led to me breaking off all communication with my sister. My sister had brought up the topic of circumcision as being horrifying as an abstraction of something other people do to their children, but then when confronted with the reality that my mother had chosen to circumcise me, she expressed absolutely zero empathy towards me and refused to knowledge the evil of my mother for doing so. The root cause of circumcision remaining prevalent is male disposability and people like Lacie Green actually are reinforcing male disposability by abstracting the issue instead of pointing to those ultimately morally responsible: mothers. However, as Stefan has pointed out, this attitude towards men is only possible because of the state taking the place of men and fathers economically. The movement is growing primarily because of economic pressure related to state reimbursements not because of any fundamental change in the morality of mothers in the US. The most productive thing men like us can do is be morally courageous enough to condemn women(and men) who subject their boys to this horror and stand our ground until the economic realities for women change and they are forced to acknowledge the pain of men.- 28 replies

Do you think ABA therapy for autism is abusive?
Tyr replied to iuliuspro's topic in Peaceful Parenting
Of course it's abuse. It is the initiation of force and completely antithetical to peaceful parenting. The fact that an infant cannot negotiate their needs verbally only means that a parent must negotiate and acquiesce to the non-verbal cues of the child. The fact that an autistic(or otherwise impaired) child never grows out of the stage where their needs dominate the needs of the parent is NOT an excuse for the parent to use force. Of course I have IMMENSE sympathy for parents of children who will need this level of care, but it's not the fault of the child either.- 10 replies

Here's the argument fleshed out when robotics/automation is taken to the level of AI.

Stefan has done a thorough presentation on the subject. Teachers in fact get payed better than virtually all other professionals. Also...I don't want to attack anyone personally because it's counter productive to try to convince people that are already financially invested in harming others, but there's no such thing as a good public school teacher. They are among the MOST immoral government workers because they willingly inflict state indoctrination to children that are forced to be there.

First of all, the root of this problems is the forced association of being in public school. How can your mother possibly be characterized as "supporting" when she is fully aware of the physical and emotional abuse you have/are suffering in School. What POSSIBLE excuse could your mother/parents have for subjecting you to this kind of abuse?
