Hey ladies! Last night was the first Freedomain.Women Skype chat, which I think went pretty well! However, we are still working on a time... The three of us that were in the call last night were thinking either Friday Oct 31 or Saturday Nov 1 for the next call, at an earlier hour than before. I was thinking maybe around 12pm EST, that way it would be early evening for you ladies overseas. Please, provide some feedback if these days/time work for you and if not, which ones would. I know there were a few ladies interested that weren't able to make it due to the timing so please let us know your availability! Also, please feel free to throw out some discussion topics that way the calls can have a little structure going into them and everyone has a good starting point. This set-up is still a work-in-process, so if you have any suggestions do not be afraid to offer your input! Best, Amanda

Hello everyone! I'm Amanda, "Boohickey's" girlfriend. I know I've been in the background thus far, but school has been crazy lately with tons of midterm assignments (just to note, I'm a second year Masters student in English concentrating in Rhetoric and Composition). Now that I have those somewhat behind me, I can now be more active in this formation of a women's group! I have to say that I am really excited about this; through my pursuit of self-knowledge, I no longer have many lady friends that I can connect with on a deeper level. Hence, I'm hoping this group will not only provide a personal space for women to discuss matters than concern them, but also stimulate the growth of healthy friendships.
