I can understand that too. I am just against the whole "100% PROOF!!!!!!1111oneoneoneone" thing. Everything that I have seen is either non-evidence, or very very tenuous circumstantial evidence at best. But there seems to be a lot of it, and a lot of people are worried, I have no problem with further investigation. I just dont like the "guilty before proven" verdict that seems to have been handed out

If the alleged codes are proven to be true, then there will be grounds for legal action.
What does this mean? Even if we show that they werent talking about pizza and pasta, it still isnt evidence that anything has happened, and you dont have grounds for legal action just for using words to mean something different from what they usually mean. You need actual crimes

The second one, I suppose , yes, it could be reference to bondage or something, it could also be a child and adult playing about. It is possible that this scenario came about innocently. The fact that you look at this picture and see something sexual says something about you, not necessarily about whoever took the photo or was playing with the child ( or, I suppose its possible that I am totally naive). I am guessing you might be arguing " Well, I would never do that to a child, even in play, it would be abusive" and perhaps thats right, but most people dont think like that, and that doesnt automatically mean that its sexually motivated.

You say they aren't producing anything as if that doesn't make the situation even worse. How much worse would "child labor" be if they were going to work in factories and whatever horrible conditions these people imagine, but they weren't actually producing anything either on top of all the "horror" of being young and working in harsh conditions. If you're quibbling over what they are producing to qualify it as "labor", you're missing the point of the "immorality" being assigned to what children are having to go through. A lack of productivity makes it worse and the productivity wasn't the relevant complaint, but the poor living conditions of children.
Look, you want to say how schools are terrible? Fine, im with you. but to go on about "child labour" is ridiculous. its not child labor, under any stretch of the word. Child labour is the ones who make nikes for 10 pence a day or whatever. Or who get conscripted into armies. I am "quibbling" over the point that people are talking crap, making dumb emotional arguments.

Child labor - it's now called "public schools". They get high stress work for no pay and learn few, if any, skills for future work and are prevented from getting real work or training. It's not America's future, it's America's present. They just 84'd it with the words.

Regardless, it seems a much better solution to a get a decent girlfriend rather than to pay lots of money to talk to a therapist for a limited time. At least in my current situation, where my funds are minimal. With a girlfriend I get pretty much unlimited time with her and practically for free and also physical intimacy. So I'm happy for now.
I'm not sure what else to add here, maybe this thread is done.
Any thoughts on girlfriend vs therapist?
my concern is that, if you are still "damaged"( dont know how else to put it, disfunctional, maybe?) , and would still benefit from a therapist, then any relationship you enter into , you may not be aware of her disfunction, or may be so needy that you ignore or disregard any disfunction on her side. You say shes a decent person, but its easy to ignore red flags.

In reputation only though, eh? In what way would Trump supports be able to hold him accountable should he not live up to their expectations? One of my null hypotheses prior to the election is that there is no way of knowing what he will do and no apparatus in place to hold him to what he's said.
for example, point out promises broken, lies told, bad policies, bad decisions. Ok, it doesnt stop those things happening, but it can be pointed out, and people can make their own minds up. I suppose it depends what you mean by "accountable".

It's not real. This is the problem with belief in things like the Constitution and statism in general. You cannot tell somebody "you get to rule over me" AND how to do so. They are mutually exclusive behaviors. Ruling over people is open-ended. Every ruler (including in USA's history) has demonstrated this, with all perceived forms of restraint mystically unable to actually restrain them.
The only thing people who consented to him as a ruler can do in response to him not doing exactly what they want is to admit that they were wrong to turn to institutionalized violence to solve problems created by that same institution and pledge to live their values from that moment on instead of selling them off for the illusion of comfort in the moment.
I am with you on the not real thing, and still, people can be held to account.

I have seen some people talking about trump, how he was friends with jeffrey? epstein, and how he has been accused of rape and assault of a 13yo. What do people think about this? The details that I read were in a huffington post article, so I am skeptical of anything they say, but its still concerning.

I wonder if there will be a null hypothesis on the Trump phenomenon. Even if things continue to erode under him, the tone I gather from the board is it will be met with "Trump may not have been a savior, but Clinton would have been much worse."
