Wow, hadn't seen that thanks.
It would be great if Stefan could do a video about this--it's blowing up bigtime, and it would be huge to be able to share a succinct breakdown about HOW this is harmful to kids. If you look at the upvote/downvote ratio, sadly there ia a massive amount of people that like these videos and don't think (majorily) psychological abuse is harmful. Going through some of the vids, there's violence EVERYWHERE. The youngest kid, who seems to get it the worst appears to be self-harming, even (cutting). They constantly tell him there's something wrong with him, he has problems, something wrong with his brain... he's stupid. In one video, they did this "Mannequin challenge", in which everyone is "frozen", and in EVERY SINGLE "act" there is simulated violence or destruction of property (mom dropping a game console from 2nd story, sibling choking sibling, one boy holding a smaller boy against a wall about to punch him in the face).
The positive is, there's a good amount of condemnation about this stuff on channels that criticize the behavior (and some subreddits), but no one has really gotten into HOW it's harmful. Common arguments for the behavior are: They're not beating the kids so it's fine... Siblings fight and that's normal, so that's fine.
WE know that's wrong--and it is harmful--but many don't see/know that it's going to really fuck these kids up (and then photocopy, photocopy, photocopy)...
