  1. Interesting! I think you are on to something. Personally, I exchanged evil for sickness. It still makes me a bit powerless, but it makes me more soft against those who do horrible actions. What do you think about that? That is very well put! Do you think that I'm pointing out the gun in the room in terms of discussing this subject for the philosophers? Is that why some react like they do because I made them uncomfortable? The gun in the room seems here seems to be the subject of taking action. They just want to sit and discuss the gun in the room, not take any real action of physically removing it. Once again, I'm not saying that we shouldn't, but it's time that we also take some action as he writes in the text above.
  2. Did I say it was supposed to be a mob and executed like those? Think outside the box! It can be done in thousand different ways! I agree on that I did a small judgement, but it was more a reflection, and I wasn't saying that someone didn't realize anything. THIS IS WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR! Great ideas and actions! There are thousands of possibilities like we can do here!
  3. Don't tell me what I realize or not before asking questions, thank you. On topic, you simply disregard that the philosophy community is not passive? For example, the Arabic spring or Ukrainian revolution, how much "philosophizing" was it there? I don't doubt, I know it's not on the level of Stefan or any other "movement". So it kinda counters your argument that we need to philosophize everything to the extent of passivity. I can tell you - the movement as it exists on the level of discussing this idea won't grow much more than this. The 90% rest of the world will not suddenly become interested in these things. You have to simply things. As Stefan said recently, people are followers and we are not to wait until they understand what's going on. I'm sorry, did I offend you? I didn't mean that those "saving the world" is not doing enough, but maybe on the wrong path. The point of a leader or people is to lead them on the right path and we are just standing still on the path I think. We have to get it moving. What's the goal? Vision? Plan? I don't think it's irresponsible to anxious, it's a great emotion to get you going. So is anger. The philosophizing community is these powerful thinkers but the seem to lack the execution. They are doing their part, but we need the people that gets things done.
  4. The movement is not a movement, it's a stagnant thing that just want to dream and debate how the future might look or work. We will sit and discuss it, without much happening, until the system and it's tyrannical government and corporations has got us so caged in that we eventually lose. It's like discussing how we should build a house on the island we are fleeing to. Problem is, we are on a sinking ship while doing that, and people are not talking about how to build a boat to get out of the ship. Instead they discuss how the future should look like. It ends with everyone drowning. The problem with the movement is that everyone want to do their own thing. Either we philosophize in all eternity about RBE or a free market. It's much nicer to just sit and talk than to act. What they should do is to unite in a common goal - get rid of the tyrannical system and AFTER that we can philosophize how we should build a new system. If every revolution were this intellectualized, it would have got nowhere! At the same time it's important to not repeat the same mistakes, but it's sure hell of a lot better to do something wrong than to do nothing. Analysis is paralysis. The movement is so dependent on awareness that it forgets action with a clear goal and something to work against. It becomes stagnant and no one wants to engage in something without a goal or a plan. Describe the movement Even though I want to describe the truth movement in a more concrete way. Truth movement doesn't work for the mainstream citizens and myself sometimes seems to stumble - what am I fighting against and for? Something that can unite left and right. Anonymous, Zeitgeist, Thrive, TVP, FDR, Russell Brand and everyone between. How can you appeal with a word or slogan that would make citizens engaged? One word or meaning.
  5. Interesting. May I ask you, since you seem to be interested and have great understanding on this subject, how is a child affected by going to school and be separated from their parents for a long time at early age? I just had to ask, because that question has been all over my head lately. I just think that separation is SICK.
  6. I can't find the sources for the studies I previously seen. To me, it's no wonder that there are very few studies. If it went public that the TV is literally brainwashing citizens, I think people would react. (Hmm...maybe not) And I'm sure "google works as intended". You say we should use our analytical and logic parts: If a person, just by talking, can put us in a trance state, you don't think a TV can? And to be honest, the only evidence I need is to watch a child in front of a TV. Or try to talk to someone in front of the TV, it's like talking to a zombie.
  7. 1 week media fast sounds great, good luck! I'll follow what you said about "comfortable pace". I really need to think about that. Thanks Yeah, just ask if X wants your advice "What do we love to give but hate to take? The answer is advice." Biking is truly soothing. And what you said "energy storing inside" is also important. Many times these tensions causes great deal of problems. It seems that the brain has no overload function in terms of information. It's not the same as when you run and become totally exahausted and can feel it. Our mental energy is affected can affect us in terms of how we interact with other people. How aware we are and present about things. That's why I feel a bit lonely with people I believe. Their brains are so exhausted but they take their coffee and they don't really notice their exhaustion. And then they behave in a ADHD like way. The brain seems to rev up when tired, instead of rev down. Yes just watched "They live". Thoughtful movie. Haha I felt the same! It was so frustrating. Your experience in terms of fighting or "waking up"?
  8. Hello, There was a Youtube video where one person asked how he can think for himself and articulate things correctly. And these are my suggestions that truly helped me a lot to think independently. This is the most striking; "Further research by Krugman revealed that our brain’s left hemisphere, which processes information logically and analytically, tunes out while we are watching television. The left hemisphere is the critical region for organizing, analyzing, and judging incoming data[4]. This tuning-out allows the right hemisphere of our brain, which processes information emotionally and uncritically, to function unimpeded." TV is heroin crossed with hypnosis I'm afraid the same mode is activated when being infront of the computer. The difference is that you are activate infront of the computer though. Critical: Have time, avoid schedule and stress (good luck). Be in nature for 1 month and you will understand how unconsciously stressed you were that blocked your way of thinking. I discovered this when I was put in a rehabilitation centre being burnt-out where I had no technology for 1 month. All I did was eating and sleeping. Meditation - if you can clear your thoughts completley you will discover a clarity and a rush of creativity. Think of it like untangling all your thoughts and ideas, like a cat ball, when they are untangled they can connect to each other in a new way, thus the enormous creativity flow afterwards. Stillness and silence is cruical components too, they are connected to meditation. Food & Vitamine - Drink a lot. Check your vitamine levels. Eat green. Magnesium and B12 helped me a lot. Excercise - might sound weird - but the ammount of clarity I have got from my jogging runs is unbelievable. You solve so many problems. I think smart people would be so much smarter if they had a healthy mind and body. Don't watch or read for a certain period. We live in a time where we take in so much information and we believe that we are thinking, but we are really not. We forget the part called "processing". Avoid TV, series and movies. This is something I've been thinking of myself - I'm a very much of a free thinker and always asked questions when I was watching movies like "Why don't they just do that or that?!". I couldn't stand watching movies because there were so obvious solutions and many logical misstakes. What I think happens in this day and age is that these "stupid narratives" makes us think in a certain way or pattern where logic is not used. Ask questions all the time about everything - your mind will sub consciously answer them. Why? How? If you fear of being wrong or sound stupid in a conversation - go and be as stupid as you can in conversations for a while. You must be able to "fail" and say "Oh, i'm sorry, I was wrong." There is a difference between knowing and understanding. Trust yourself when you go into the unknown realm of knowledge. See the gap but don't freak out. Do something where you can be creative and don't follow patterns. Write a diary and don't censor yourself at all. Just let it out. Believe. Don't think too much what you are going to say - trust. You can hear that this guy is thinking what he is going to say. Learn new words for a bigger vocabulary which is cruical to describe your thoughts and ideas. Use an app called "Elevate". Please share your tips! Off topic: In 2 weeks I will release something I think you will all like. I think Stefan will be very interested.
