  1. I prefer ruby, love the syntax coffeescript, javascript and PHP works to. Planning to learn Elixir, it seems to be a really cool new language. Programmer yourself?
  2. A okey. Hehe I think we talked about two different things I meant on the computer. So I use VLC and preview to read and listen. on the phone I just listen because it too much hassle stopping and starting and trying to find where I was in the text. I liked you idea about 5, 10 second skippers so I added those to the app
  3. I read books by having VLC and adobe reader. So I switch between those two. The audiobook reader widget sounds cool, will check it out, didn't know that adobe had a build in widget for audiobooks. The 5, 10 sec buttons are a great idea
  4. I had a problem reading Stefan’s books. I really like to combined audio and text when I read and it works okay on my laptop, but on a Ipad or Iphone, it’s a big challenge. It’s hard to pause and play, and Stefan’s books are not easy to digest. Pausing and playing, to have the time to think, does take away for the experience, especially on mobile. And mobile browsers don’t remember you last audio position, so if you pause for a long time or play something else, your audio will go back to the start. Especially irritating if you don’t remember where you were in the audiobook. Luckily browser do remember your position in the text. And I thought also that it would be really cool to have the an app that also scroll as I read so I can just sit back and relax. Being a developer, I went out and build it Preview: https://freedomain-radio.herokuapp.com/ The only book available as of now is: On Truth - The Tyranny of Illusion I’m still developing the auto scroll function but it will take same time because it’s a hard problem to solve. The code it simple, but every browser seems to process mp3 files differently, so for example, at exactly one hour mark on Chrome, Firefox is of sync for a couple sec. If you want to help, could you report when your browser plays: If you must honour the category “father” and “mother,” then you must respect all mothers and fathers equally. Showing preference for your own parents would be unjust. http://cdn.media.freedomainradio.com/feed/books/OnTruth/On_Truth_The_Tyranny_of_Illusion_by_Stefan_Molyneux_HQ.mp3 My results: Chrome: 1:00:16 Firefox: 1:00:10 QuickTime: 1:00:11 Any feedback welcome! Cheers, Mateusz
