FYI, I am 73 year male US citizen and new to this site and forum. I want to offer a thought for community review and comment: Have we and the press failed to recognize that Our President has two twitter accounts: One; @POTUS; Two; @realdonanldtrump?
My recent cursory examination of both twitter accounts suggests to me that: Our President uses the @POTUS twitter account for "Official" Presidential statements and the @realdonaldtrump account for his personal (non-Presidential) thoughts, statements and musings.
My HYPOTHESIS: "Our current President seems to very clearly separate his communication of personal thoughts, ideas, conceptual positions and moral views from his official statements of fact, actions and direction as Our President.
Since most agree that he has a very high IQ this separation strongly suggests that he clearly understands that one vehicle is for official statements and the other for personal (non-official) opinions and view points. Despite political correctness and speech limitations as defined by the SJW the actual separation of opinion from fact is critical to any rational discourse. Many of us clearly and regularly separate our opinions from statements of fact. Many of us intuitively know that our own beliefs and choices may or may not be be based on actual facts. While it is true that our actions more clearly represent our working beliefs than our statements many never claim that either their speech or actions are always based in facts.
There are multiple classic examples of this phenomenon. Most prominent politicians talk their game by telling us what they will do when elected yet seldom deliver on those pledged future actions. Clearly many elected profession politicians later actions may not honestly represent their fundamental beliefs and promises. Many of the religious clerical class are actually 'defrocked or forced our of their positions' when serious personal moral failures are made public. However, the political class only rarely get exposed at all and even then seem to deny and survive their public failures!
That said, if my hypothesis is to have validity it would benefit from an open review and discussion here. My thanks to any who examine in depth the actual content of these twitter accounts and related matters and shares here detailed facts and examples on the use of these twitter accounts. I hope some of our 'factual information warriors' will examine, review and purse this question! I invite them to share what they see and learn from their work and share the facts they find and then their thoughts with our community here.
