  1. Recently a series made by the film director Oliver Stone has taken the Left by storm as he made a very fair and comprehensive interview with the God-Tsar Vladimir Putin. I've been watching it thus far and have had a very enjoyable experience relating to Putin's views on various subjects as well as getting to know the man better personally. While I know he's a train wreck as far as family life goes it is still very interesting to learn about the man behind the scenes with his daughters and grandchildren, as well as the busy work life he has as the ruler of one of the biggest multi-ethnic nations in the world. I figured I'd make this a topic to both debate what he's said, share with the forums that this is a thing, and in general stir the pot of discussion and see where it goes. I guess the most basic question is; "Is Vladimir Putin a good leader of Russia?" and the series tackles the very important question of "Who is the True Enemy". As AnCaps we both know it's the government, and I'm impressed that's where the interview is going as quite a few of the war crimes and tragedies of the 21st century are being talked about. However I'd like some outside opinions as everyone I'm personally close to is a bit of a Putin fan and therefore not the best critics of the big little guy.
  2. I want to bring this video by Black Pigeon Speaks to everyone's attention, and if you don't want to watch the whole thing, here's the gist (and some items that I want to mention that weren't in the video) He speaks about excellent alternatives to Google services - I am already using all of them and can attest to the fact that they indeed work really well: 1) Brave Broswer - clean, minimalist look, so far I love it. https://www.brave.com/ 2) A search engine that works pretty well https://www.qwant.com/ 3) Email server: https://mail.protonmail.com/login - the provider promises encryption and the layout is familiar and takes no time getting used to. The phone app for iOS is also very crisp and simple. The only limitation is that you don't get storage (something I personally don't care about at all. 500 MBs is more than I need) 4) Vid.me - a reasonable alternative to YouTube (this one - understandably - is lacking in features when compared to the BEHEMOTH that is YouTube. But hey, they're not fucking fascists. That alone sells it to me). 5) Minds.com - good facebook alternative 6) Gab.ai - alternative to twitter - but Apple and GooglePlay stores both refuse to shelf it. The browser version works just fine though and personally I prefer the layout to Twitter's. 7) Finally, we have an unofficial discord channel (not endorsed by Stef/Michael - not yet anyway) that has really taken off - forum people: please come by and say hi, we have wonderful conversations going on most every day in text/voice https://discord.gg/9QujQ2k There's also a program called CyberGhost 6 which hides your IP over wi-fi connections. It doesn't seem to work with brave browser, but works with Chrome. If anyone figures out how to make it work with Brave (or has another suggestion) please let me know.
  3. Jordan Peterson Richard Spencer Julian Assange Camille Paglia Martin Shkreli Ann Coulter (again) Larry Elder Sam H. Who do you wish Stefan would interview?
  4. YouTube Description: Clinical psychologist Jay Joseph details medical science's 30-year failed quest to find any link between genetics and diagnoses of mental disorders, and debunks widely held beliefs in the psychiatric profession, including the idea of 'genetic predispositions' for mental illness. Jay is the author of The Missing Gene: Psychiatry, Heredity, and the Fruitless Search for Genes and The Gene Illusion: Genetic Research in Psychiatry and Psychology Under the Microscope. http://www.jayjoseph.net/
  5. Many of you have probably seen my videos in which I illustrate provocative and compelling philosophical thinkers. If you haven’t please check out my YouTube channel Illustrated Philosophy. Here’s the latest one narrated by Stef and Dr. Linda Gottfredson on race and intelligence.
  6. The following is a very relevant interview for those who are thinking of buying or have already bought precious metals, but have only listened to one-sided pro-gold, pro-precious metals fear-trade "advice" - been there, done that and not going back. 'Financial Sense' interview of Martin Armstrong by James J. Puplava - interview starts at the 2 minute mark: http://www.financialsensenewshour.com/broadcast/fsn2015-0829-1.mp3 [if you have issues with the audio link (mp3), just go to the source below and select from one of the four audio options.] Source: http://www.financialsense.com/financial-sense-newshour/martin-armstrong/expect-dow-hit-13000 (This interview was done on 08/29/2015.)
  7. He said in his infowars interview that he agrees with libertarians on a lot of issues, but re-asserts that America needs to use its muscles to defend itself right now. I found myself wondering if he would agree to weaken state control over the economy after America is "great again". Has he been invited? It's worth a shot one way or another.
  8. I Found this on Tatiana Moroz's channel. One of the best interviews Ive seen with Stefan https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXd8AJnQGkI&list=FLFXb_9k3SIog2nUc_urwBPQ&index=17
  9. I remember watching an upload where Stef had an "interview/conversation" with a woman about child raising and the woman mentioned that she had a book that came with a bow so that it was perfect for a baby shower gift. I browsed the youtube uploads but have not been able to find that "episode". Can anyone help? If they have a link or remember the name of the woman or the episode? Thank you!!
  10. Got my first sales job starting on Monday. It's telemarketing for a company that specializes in SEO, branding, internet presence, etc. Anyone with sales experience wanna recommend books or videos for commission sales people?
  11. Stefan, I have been doing Crossfit a few months, and have had fun with it. Fitness has been an important part of my life for a few years now, and I was looking for something more exciting than conventional weightlifting and cardio exercises. Recently I saw a Reason interview with Greg Glassman, in which he described himself as rabidly libertarian. Glassman is the founder of Crossfit, and he seems like a cool guy. Admittedly the Reason video doesn't say much about his principles. However I think this lecture, at the Illinois Policy Institute, does. He shows a profound understanding of the free market, which goes a long way to explaining how Crossfit exploded in the last five years. Getting an interview with him can't be easy, given what his schedule must be like. I don't see any contact information for him online, so one might have to ask the Reason reporters how they got in touch with him. I considered doing this, but it's better I know you are interested, before making inquiries. Also it might be something you prefer to do yourself. Thanks, Lowe
  12. I'm dying to know how this one went. Mostly I'd love to know the details of the job, if the caller is willing to divulge. Putting aside Stef's completely legit clarification for the purposes of the rest of this sentence, I'd be really curious what retouching gig pays 80K. GadDAMN!!! * major eye-poppage * I'm guessing supermodels, or maybe big time corporate advertising?
