I am a co-organizer for a philosophy meet-up group in downtown SLC that meets every Sunday, with other meetings on Saturdays and occasionally during the week. We talk abstract philosophy, religion, atheism, politics, and whatever else strikes us. We're mostly a mix of college-age kids and middle-aged guys, with a sprinkling of everyone else with a variety of philosophical and political positions, regularly argued in a civilized, respectful manner. We're open to the public and up for any subject of discussion, all in a casual environment with snacks usually provided. How awesome would it be if we could organize a big FreeDomainRadio get-together in Washington D.C on inauguration day? Attend the speech and then maybe grab lunch/dinner somewhere after? Inauguration day is on January 20th. It will be a Friday. It is the perfect opportunity for many of us to see president Trump and Stefan from up close and celebrate our great victory. In my case, it will be my first ever visit to the United States and I really cannot think of a better day to do it. What do you guys think? Can we convince Stefan?

I'm looking for anyone philosophically or scientifically minded in gwynedd or liverpool, I'll be traveling to liverpool for a short stay in the near future but my current residence is in Gwynedd. Hello all! I know this is a long shot, but if you're in western montana, I'd like to meet up! It's been nearly a month since I moved here from PA; and while I'm not yet settled, I am wondering if I can pull some hidden liberty lovers out of the shadows into some social events. We'll meet at the S 1st Torchy's truck, get some delicious tacos and eventually walk a couple blocks to Gordough's. There should be free parking in the surrounding neighborhoods, but give yourself a little time to hunt as it's a Saturday. What better way to pursue happiness then tacos, donuts and a good chat? What is a strike? Is the good game one with the highest score? Is shooting someone in the eye with a laser immoral? These and (hopefully) other questions can be discussed at the July 6th FDR meetup! Happiness is the end in itself, and what better way to achieve that end then by getting dinner, bowling and playing laser tag all the while having great discussions about voluntaryism and personal freedom! We’ll meet at 5pm at Kerbey Lane to eat a nice meal (or snack) and get to know each other a bit, then walk over to the Main Event (they’re right next to each other) to bowl and TOTALLY BREAK THE N-A-P IN LASER TAG. There’s plenty of free parking and it’s $17.95 for a “Summer FUNpass” at Main Event, which will cover all of the bowling and laser tag.
