Since this is my first post in the new forum, I feel it's right to provide a bit of an introduction first. My name is Jesper, I'm a 40-year old virgin guy living in Copenhagen Denmark with my Stefan/FDR-loving wife Chris. I'm a programmer and she's a designer. Prior to settling here, we lived in London, Paris, Malta and a little bit in NZ. We're both totally into peaceful parenting (no kids yet) / voluntarism and being consistent and good people. Everyone here knows the constant struggle that is, when the world is filled with a lot of people, who don't exactly share that vision. Chris has defo'ed a good deal of her family and we don't have a lot of close friends in general. I think we need to be more FDR-social. So back to the post-topic. We've launched a crowdfunding campaign for a new product (Bake On) that Chris has spent a good deal of the past three years designing (as well as baking A LOT to make sure the recipes were great). I've mostly been helping her ping-pong ideas while iterating the product-design (and eating cake), and then lately I've helped on the web-presence front. After the campaign was launched we're both all-in though, in spreading awareness about the product and campaign, as well as answering questions and coming up with ideas going forward. We've also put a lot of money into the prototyping, because screen-printing is quite expensive, and producing the campaign video is not cheap either. This is just to say that we're all-in both time and money-wise. If you could see our flat now, you'd know, because we don't even have a sofa or dinner-table yet. In fact we have 2 smaller tables and a bed - that's about it. :-) Honestly though, we don't need it, and tend to strive towards our goals instead of towards material stuff. In order to start production and get everything really started with Bake On, our only current option is crowd-funding. It's of course also a good way to figure out if enough demand can be created for a product, as well as creating some awareness up front. If you have any questions whatsoever to the campaign or to our lives or whatever, please don't hesitate to ask away. If you have ideas for spreading awareness, same. If you like the product or know someone who'd possibly like it, please join the campaign or share it. Fair warning, Xmas is coming and I bet you haven't found a present for your baking-loving grandma yet. :-) Campaign link: http://igg.me/at/BakeOn Website link: http://bakeon.net all the best Jesper ps: just noticed Stefan shared news about it on Facebook - thanks Stef! https://www.facebook.com/stefan.molyneux/posts/10153069611131679
