AmidstheNoise asks (see comment for youtube video), why no one [in the government] has taken credit for the 49% decline in murder rates and 49% of violent crime rate in the United States? What happens if this trend continues over the next 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 years? What happens when women start being taught by their husbands how to protect themselves with a gun from violent criminals? What happens when civilian thieves, rapist, and murders no longer steal, rape, and murder because now everyone is carrying a concealed weapon? You think men who murder, rape, and steal are fearless and aren’t scared. Men who steal, rape, and murder are broken boys who were beaten or neglected instead of being loved and nurtured as children, their dreams ripped away or slowly fading through years of shame and guilt of being “bad”. What happens if crime rates approach near 0 over the next 100 years in this country? What happens when industrialization and technological improvements bring more and more countries out of poverty? What happens when the problem of the poor has been solved by capitalism? What happens when education is provided for free on the internet or very cheaply by virtual teachers and homeschooling? What happens to the justification for government? Why do you think socialist, authoritarians, fascists, and statists are praying for guns to be taken by the government? They have to hurry to take away the solution before the problem of crime has been solved. However, this time they won’t make it. And the liberty movement will not let them; we can promise you that.
