If taxation is violence by the state, then isn't special interest group lobbying like taking up arms by proxy?

If I don't like person/people x, I can manipulate the state to commit violence against x.

I'm looking for discussions on this topic.  My Google-fu isn't good enough to find any info on my own.. maybe I can't shape my question well enough.. and I've done some forum searches to no avail.  I've watched a bunch of random vides, and I'm gently going through Stefan's audio books.

Perhaps I'll bump into something eventually, but asking for help may be faster.

Let me know if you have discussion leads..

You can get straight to the point and cut out all the pretenses with simple questions, such as:

"What would the lobbyists do without the government?"

or

"Why exactly are the lobbyists going to the government in the first place? What can the government do that they or their partners cannot? What do those in government have that they or their partners do not?"

No need for formal education or a PhD to ask such questions. In fact, it's those who keep it simple and based on principle that have less to hide. Avoid people and discussions that obfuscate and complicate everything. It's not worth your time.
