Cincy...although not a "native"...fish out of water yeah.

Hi there! Although I've lived in Columbus for over a decade, I'm a native of Cincy actually. What part of Cincy do you live?

Over in Mt. Adams currently. There's someone around Cleaveland on the boards I've chatted with, but think we're few and far between around here

Hello! I have lived in Cincinnati and Columbus....currently live in Newark (45 minutes outside of Columbus).

Hi edtech, Nice to meet you. I go to Newark everyday for my job. How long have you been listening to the podcast?

I sometimes regret not choosing to commute from Columbus to Newark...not a lot to do in Newark. I do go to Columbus quite a bit though.

I have been listening for 4 or 5 years now. By taking to heart the ideas we all chat and think about, I have changed my life immeasurably for the better, so I am so grateful that Freedomain Radio exists.

How long have you been listening for? I noticed in your profile that you list unschooling  as an interest, which is a topic that blew my mind when I looked into it. I currently work in higher education and the deleterious effect of public schooling is very noticeable.

Hi again edtech, I apologize for the delay in responding. Yes, Columbus has A LOT more to do than Newark for sure, haha! I have been listening consistently since about November of last year. It has changed my life too in some pretty significant ways. I find little nuggets in just about every podcast. In what areas has it changed your life most? I am not married to even have kids yet, but I've been into psychology and child development/parenting for most of my adult life. I was first introduced to the concept of unschooling several years ago and it just clicked within my gut and seems to make so much sense, even the radical whole life unschooling approach that Dayna Martin talks about. I would love to hear more about your experiences from being in education. Feel free to Private message me :) Btw, "deleterious" is a great word!

Hey edtech, tambert and all Ohio folk

Anyone else interested in a meeting to get to know other philosophically-minded folks in the area? Maybe somewhere between Cincinnati/Columbus or somewhere in between if folks from Cleveland are interested?

Pffft, the proper thing to do would have been to make the subject "OH" and then wait for one of us to respond "IO."  And you call yourself an ohioan.  **shakes head**
