empyblessing Posted February 21, 2013 Share Posted February 21, 2013 I live in a small city now on the border of a large rural area and while I don't hate this area I've been thinking about moving. What stops me is the fear of moving to a large city - not out of some irrational fear of strangers or skyscrapers but a fear of economic collaspe. If the power goes or the government checks stop coming bedlam will ensue. Riots, robbings, killings will all centralize where the people are, in a city. I was hoping to avoid the worst of the fallout and stay alive as best I can. I wanted to start a thread to generate some discussion on the pros and cons of moving with the knowledge that economic collaspe is possible.
