kospe Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 I'm curious what philosophers and philosophical books people here have read, libertarian or otherwise.
Tyff Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 No Treason, the Constitution of No Authority by Lysander Spooner Philosophy: Who Needs It by Ayn Rand The Art of Reasoning by David Kelley Human Action: A Treatise on Economics by Ludwig Von Mises Metaphysics by Aristotle The Nicomachean Ethics by Aristotle The Private Production of Defense by Hans-Hermann Hoppe Democracy: The God That Failed by Hans-Hermann Hoppe The Libertarian Manifesto by Murray Rothbard Modern Epistemology: A New Introduction by Nicholas Everitt These are a few good books, mostly Libertarian. I recommend studying Epistemology thoroughly, if you haven't, in order to know how to decipher what's true as you move forward through the other branches of philosophical teachings. A Logic textbook is helpful too.Have fun! ^__^
kospe Posted March 6, 2013 Author Posted March 6, 2013 Thanks for the advice! What are Aristotle's Metaphysics and Everitt's Modern Epistemology like?
