Guest spam dumpster Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 Yesterday, as I was leaving a store, and headed out for lunch, I noticed a police car parked illegally. Being a professional photographer and thinking this was a great photo opportunity, I took out my camera and started snapping away. Then, just as I was finishing up, the cop responsible for parking the car there came out and started harassing me. He started demanding I give him my identification, and demanding to know why I was taking pictures. As I usually do when a cop harasses me, I just walked away, but this cop phyiscally grabbed me and pulled me back to him, threatened me, and called me, among other things, a terrorist. So, after an hour of being illegally detained, he still didn't have anything on me, and I was "free to go," except that he fraudulently filed a tresspass warrant against me at the store that I'm going to have to get thrown out on the grounds that it was filed without the knowledge or consent of the store staff. But, my loss is your gain. The picture that got me Manninged is now public domain! Take it. Do with it as you please! http://photos.underceej.co.uk/00004/img/00004/AboveTheLaw-Fusion.jpg
RestoringGuy Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 That is a cool story. I always wonder about the cops parked strangely. It reminds me of many times I pulled over on the side and parked legally and safely (let's say to look at a map or GPS) I got harrassed and asked why I am parked here, have you been drinking, etc. No wonder people text while driving.
