Fascinating Article on the Enforcement of Conformity in Animals, Children, and Across Cultures

Some of the other articles on the site seem a tad questionable, but this one caught my interest. 

It seems pretty bleak.  Hopefully we can use reason and authenticity to erode this terrible inheritance (assuming the article's thesis has some validity).
