I get very upset when ads for this movie play. There are so many imbedded and unanalyzed conclusions in the premise of the movie that it is frustrating. Namely that if the state legalizes crime and makes it so they wont be there to save you, then everyone goes crazy and kills people. Or that everyone going crazy and killing people 12 hours a year somehow will create a utopia where no kids and families feel negative side effects. Or that "the purge" brings a lot of good to the world like a god.

So frustrating. Maybe the plot brings other conclusions, I'm not sure, but the trailer makes it seem like a really bad movie, but it is getting a lot of hype and support.
