JKPgamer Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 I actually had a friend show me this...My response was yes I do believe violence needs to be stopped especially abusive relationships, but I don't like that men are villified as the only abuser when women can be abusers too. After listening to a lot of Stef's podcasts I understand why our culture has come to demonizing the man and making heroes out of women...And I do believe both men and women that are abused should be helped and I have a lot of empathy for them considering I was in an abusive relationship...but I don't like how his response was completely focused on women being abused and how it's men who have to change it with no mention of how women can abuse men just as much.
JamesP Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 I noticed that he didn't identify any responsibility on the part of his mother for exposing him to a man like his father.
