J-William Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 The real threat to our privacy and economy isn't Big Brother but a weak state, at the mercy of the alien forces of global business hahah hahaha... hahaha http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2013/jun/10/snowden-government-force-for-good-big-brother this is the real danger of people equating big business with government... they want us to forget which one has guns, which one has prisons, which one propagandizes children for thousands of hours. Basic economics still has the nerve to teach as fact that markets are more rational than public servants can ever be The nerve of that "Basic economics"! can you believe it? Basic physics also has the nerve to teach that things fall due to gravity! Gahh! [6]
Guest darkskyabove Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 Just another step closer towards using force in a defensive posture to eradicate irrational slave-masters.
Livemike Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 "The crash and the slump should have ignited a sense that government is often all that stands between us and disaster, but the foghorns of the right succeeded in blaming government more than runaway financiers." Yeah because as we know the government had absolutely nothing to do with the disaster, there wasn't any problems with the central bank. Time and time again I conclude that that left is all about pretending they didn't cause problems. They don't care about the money or power any more, they just want to explain how the consequences of their actions aren't the consequences of their actions.
