Guest masterofmyself Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Hi, my name is Rich, and I'm a law student at Rutgers-Camden Law School. This message is really for Stef, but advice/assistance from anyone is welcomed! I am currently working as a legal intern for the New Jersey Volunteers Lawyers for the Arts, and I have the opportunity to create a research article and have it published. I have chosen to discuss the changing landscape of the arts industry with regard to technology and innovation. Specifically, I want to explore the artist's newfound ability to distribute his or her material directly to the public without the need for third-party entities like record companies, publishers, distributors, etc. Stef - as an author, you have spearheaded the movement toward self-publishing and distribution. I would like to get some information and insight on what this process was like for you. Can we perhaps set up an interview so that I can ask you a few a questions? Any help would be greaty appreciated. Feel free to email me - [email protected]. Thanks, Rich
