Wesley
Penn Jillette is a well known libertarian, having him on the show could attract a lot of viewers and be an interesting to hear his views. He definitely has said he comes from the objectivist camp and has talked about Ayn Rand.
Freedomain
He's a very busy guy, but there is a decent chance that show could happen at some point in the future.
Dumitru
Excellent suggestion! I get the impression he's the type to call a spade a spade. I don't know far he's willing to take that, but he'd be great to have on the show for sure!
Pepin
That would be very interesting to watch. He has a way about talking about these subjects that feels a lot more human.
Barry_diller
He is a very passionate and open person, have anyone seen the debate between him and Piers Morgan? He was a bit too soft, but that is properly because he really though about the general audience. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSJV8mC8GYk Piers usually "wins" an argument by making the other person explode in anger towards him
LovePrevails
If Piers Morgan believes in God why does he not serve Him by doing some good in the world. btw thanks for posting that video very much enjoying it
Guest - Josh -
Here is an older video where he says he leans more towards anarcho-capitalism: He recently did an AMA on reddit, and gave this reply to one of the questions: Well, once we get full libertarian ideas working, why not try Anarcho-Capitalism, if we like that. I'm sure if he ever comes on the show there will be a lot of topics to be discussed, but this is one of the important ones. Minarchy is not a steppingstone towards freedom. Unfortunately, he might not be so open to anarcho-capitalism as he lets on. He still gets hung up on police and courts and military. I don't think he is the type of person who would say things just to be agreeable. I honestly think that is his opinion. However, any amount of evidence could be used to dismantle the idea that they're here to protect us. Police aren't legally required to protect you. Just look at what happened to this kid, all because people believe the government should monopolize these things: If you understand that "governments are inefficient and prone to corruption," why believe that "they should be responsible only for the most crucial and essential tasks"? Barry_diller
yes, in 2005 the supreme court ruled it was not the police's job to protect the people, now it's to uphold the law..http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/01/10/One-More-Reason-We-Need-Guns-SCOTUS-Rules-Police-Not-Bound-To-Protect-CitizensI don't think that Penn have heard strong enough arguments to look through the 3 "holy.. cough cough" sides of the RepublicMilitary, police, court systemIt took me little time to come from a socialist to an Minarchist. I always knew that socialism didn't work, but I thought that charity never would be enough to support the "weak". From an Minarchist to an Anarcho-Capitalist took a lot longer, so much more propaganda to process
