Ritchey Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Here's an article about the age old ritual of hazing. Students at Upper St. Clair High School have been practicing this horrible ritual for years (so says the article). The students claim that this is an initiation. This high school is a public school and the students do not have a choice of where they attend. I can understand hazing in collage. This is a volutary action. I do not agree with it and think it should be done away with, but that is my opinion. What I find more disgusting is the support from other students. They make comments on twitter like, "This is such bullshit!!! You should be honored to be pattled (sic)!!" and "good job to the upcoming seniors for making the news for paddling #loveit”. I thought this might be an opportunity for stefan to deliver another anti-spanking message or for others to bring up the conversation. Here is the link to the article. It includes a video. http://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2013/07/22/hazing-video-being-investigated/
