Its in the desertic middle patriarchy was born and it is a reflection of the fact the feminin aspect is hiden in those enviroments , nature and humidity has to be veiled otherwise it dries and life cannot exist in an exulting manner. The cultures of the desert evolved around those conditions and the veiled and restricted woman is in relation with the scarcity of resources that cannot sustain big families. Those cultures cannot be transplanted in different environments where cultures evolved differently. You can see how in the tropical forest sexual promiscuity is liberal and matriarchy present compared to the restrictive patriarch islamic desert born culture.
