STer Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 I notice the reputation points where some posts get good or bad votes from people. But I can't find how to "upvote" or "downvote" a post. Is that feature only for certain levels of donors? Or should everyone see the buttons for that and, if so, where are they?
Wesley Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 I am pretty sure any donation level allows reputation voting.
PatrickC Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 The voting buttons are to the bottom right beneath any post, next to the vote score box. They are between the post text and any signiture the poster may have. I'm assuming they may have limited it to donators for now, if you're unable to see them. That could just be a temporary measure, as they iron out the kinks with the forum perhaps.
JamesP Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Reputation is currently limited to donators. At some point, you may have the option to screen posts made by people with low reputations, but right now this only applies to the votes on a given post. This is definitely still in the "see how it goes" phase. I've been wanting some sort of rep or karma system for some time now, and I'm curious to see how the board community will do when people have the tools to police it themselves.
