MysterionMuffles Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Hey everybody! I started a Youtube channel called From the Book Shelf to the Big Screen, where I review the latest novels that get adapted for film. Not only do I draw comparisons between both versions, but I also dissect the deeper meanings to each story. I would highly appreciate if you could take a gander at my videos, preferably leaving comments on the Youtube page so it gains some traction, but discussions in this thread would be welcomed too. Here are the videos I've made so far: Intro to BSBS Twilight by Stephanie Meyer The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold Kick Ass by Mark Millar & John Romita Jr. Kick Ass is my latest one, and I hope to follow up with Kick Ass 2 after I get a chance to watch the movie. Hope you enjoy!
Ritchey Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 I only listened to the intro and the kick ass review vids, but they were good. I subscribed and look forward to hearing more reviews from you.
MysterionMuffles Posted August 28, 2013 Author Posted August 28, 2013 Awesome thanks! And thank you to the people on the chat who told me you've checked my channel out also. Even MORE thanks to the people who helped me draw out some more deeper philosophical points that I can bring up on my next review for Kick Ass 2. Which you can watch RIGHT HERE!!! I'm working on trying to limit my synopsis summaries so that I can fit in more philosophical points. Tell me what you think so far!
