Guest Don C Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Yes, it is very bad. I think Fukushima has and will continue to contaminate the fish in the Pacific ocean. Personally, I would stop eating tuna, salmon, and herring from the west coast. And anything else for that matter. Here are a couple of links to stories packed with info: http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2013/08/is-fukushima-irradiating-tuna-salmon-and-herring-on-the-west-coast-of-north-america.html http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2013/08/west-coast-of-north-america-to-be-hit-hard-by-fukushima-radiation.html
Waster Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 This story really scares me. I really didnt want to think about the consequences of this issue, because it would make me pessimistic. But then I was thinking that disasters like these is what gives leaders power. If we all close our eyes for issues that make us uncomfortable, then only the few optimists that can maintain an image of certainty will deal with this. And deny, ingore or reduce the problems.
