Because new posts are added to the end of the feed rather than the top certain feed readers like, say, BeyondPod, aren't expecting this and don't automatically download the posts. However, they will still show up as unread and you should be able to filter and download those. It really depends on what you are using to read the feed.

Everything works fine on my devices, so I assume the issue is on your end.  Has anybody else had this problem?

 

Thanks, Glad to know it was my end, I did some digging and it was mediamonkey that lost the podcast address. I added the address and now it found up to 2471

Thanks for this.  This has been bugging me for a long time.  I noticed if you edit settings of the individual feed in BeyondPod there is a 'Use Feedly' option which pulls the RSS feed from Feedly which massages the official feed.  It looks to work so far, and it actually sorts the newest episodes on top like it should.  Hopefully tomorrow auto download will work again!
