Great video, and very true. Even for babies as young as 1, when they begin forming their personalities. There is a phenomenon called attachment parenting coined by John Bowlby, which emphasizes a child-centric parenting philosophy. It's of course heavily criticized for being unrealistic and too demanding of modern parents, which I can understand. However any step towards relating to a child on an emotional level and in a way that comforts them is infinitely better than nagging. Nagging accomplishes nothing but frustration.
