Mister Mister Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmEWStlectkJust a cute video I wanted to share. She seems like a good Mom. She is very patient and helpful and informative while the little boy comes to realize where his food comes from, and expresses a personal preference.
Panoptic Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 Awesome. You know, humans can adequately survive off of just potatoes and milk their whole life. And, just out of curiosity I'm pretty sure they're speaking Russian, which is interesting because of how high crime rates are there. ANYWAY, thank you for sharing. I'm still not giving up my beef though...

NotDarkYet Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 I wish I had had ONE conversation with ONE of my parents that involved curiosity and open-ness like this. So jealous. And a little angry. And sad.
Sharpy Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 That kid was amazing. I was told the meat I was eating was soya meat and not real when I express the same concerns to my own family as a child. I really hope he can stay strong when he eventually comes to face others who are not as open minded.
MysterionMuffles Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 I first watched this on mute while listening to music since there were subtitles. But it was extra touching to hear the intonation of their voices. It moved me. I still eat meat, but good for this kid knowing the ethical implications of filling your belly with beings that were once live, sentient and conscious.
