Where should I host a podcast?

Has anyone got a suggestion for where I should host a podcast?

what is cheap, efficient, good service, or other favourable criteria

 

please provide your reasoning for why I should choose one over the other

Google+ Hangouts is always a favorite and go directly to youtube. But if you want audio I would thing blogtalkradio is a good choice. I've never used it but I'm sure it's free. Other than that you can always host a site yourself and upload files directly.
