Guest - Josh - Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 http://www.kob.com/article/stories/S3209305.shtml?cat=12387#.Unm-b-KwUWT Not to imply that anything good can come of this, but I think this case is a good example to demonstrate to statists -- not why "cops are bad" -- but why being okay with the fact that states or municipalities wield this sort of power is appalling, and that this sort of thing could happen to anyone. I plan to use this example on another forum, and stress the lack of public outcry that would be present had a private security agency did this. I'm hoping to show why criticism against corporations but none towards states is hypocritical. The other thing about this that sucks is that because what was done to him was so horrible, he's going to win in court, and that means the taxpayer will have to pay for the "mistakes" of the authorities.
