Stefanfan Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Hello Freedomain Radio, I had put fish on the pan an hour ago. I was reading this FDR forum before and between cooking, hence I forgot the fish on the pan and the pieces burned from their bottom sides a bit. I turned the fish pieces around, thinking "Nah! Fish is always healthy." but then I thought about the cancer Stefan had obtained, so after just biting the best parts away, I threw the majority of my fish meal to the garbage bin. Fish isn't that cheap either. But I would rather be Prometheus in this regard and avoid cancer from the get-go, if I can. Does Stefan's cancer have an impact to your daily life? What are your thoughts on cancer overall? Share your thoughts, please.
ribuck Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 The carcinogenic effects of burned food are real but small. Unless you're eating badly-burned toast for breakfast every day, and charred barbecued meat every evening, it's unlikely that burned food is your highest cancer risk.
Wuzzums Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 During my oncology clerkship I've met this woman in her late 40s. She looked as if she was in her 30s, lived in a village, peak physical condition, everything she ate she grew herself, non smoker, non drinker, no chronic diseases in the family, never took a pill in her life, never had to ever go to a hospital. She had lung cancer, stage 4. She didn't even exhibit a respiratory symptom like a cough or anything, she came in because of a complication due to the metastasis. Life's not fair.

It is only fair to say, that being obsessed with your calorie intake or living the live of an hillbilly neither prolong your life span, nor does it make your life necessarily sweeter. Life isn't even an entity. Nobody dies healthy.

Perhaps I will die out of my sunburns prematurely instead. I think sunburns are a lot worse than burned food. Lots of people die healthy. Health is usually defined by the absence of disease. A gunshot to the head isn't a disease. Fair point – then again one is not instantaneously dead when the bullet hits the brain but maybe minutes or quarter hours after. In the final moment they have metal inside their skull. That's not healthy. Well... a C4 bomb would probably explode me/you in a heartbeat, that would be another story.
Holo Cene Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Stef give alternative medicine a bad rap, but there's a lot of stuff out there that can improve your health dramatically. Oil pulling, Iodine, Colloidal Silver just the tip of the iceberg. A lot of these things are villified because they can't be patented and they can't be controlled.

I heard a cancer specialist saying that the favorite treats for cancer cells are grease and sugar. Even if you think your diet and habits are healthy doesn’t mean they effectively are. Cancer is feeding on surplus and the rate of grease in lymphatic fluids are usually to high in the modern occidentalized man organism. The first first remedie should be fasting as the Russians did when the invading armies came in, they filled the wells and burned the crops. The reason fasting works is that cancer tumors are not attached to the veins, they feed on surplus in the lymphe.
Wuzzums Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 The reason fasting works is that cancer tumors are not attached to the veins, they feed on surplus in the lymphe. Lymph nodes act the same way as veins. They take fluid away from the tissues and back to the heart. In contrast, arteries are the ones that bring blood and implicitly nutrients to the body including tumors. However the fasting idea makes sense. It should halt growth progression the same way it halts tissue repair. But cancer has no interest in sustaining the body's equilibrium (homeostasis) thus it eats up the resources of other tissues. One tell-tale clinical sign of cancer is a rapid decrease in weight not associated with diet or exercise.
