Anti-Spanking Lyrics

I would love to hear your thoughts on this set of lyrics I've been working on. I have a preset intention on what I want to convey with these lyrics, but I would also like to see how you guys interpret it.

Monkeys in the Mirror

Your inability to look at yourself

Is a condemnation to a wretched hell

Full of remorse and reaction
Attempting to absolve ownership for your actions

Monkey see and monkey do

They're just mirrors to you

When you hand raise the beast

All they learn is defeat

Physical correction is incorrect within itself

When your demands are often defied

Don't you dare, no don't you dare act so surprised

When they take their violence out on other kids

Don't you wonder, wonder why they had to blow their lids?

Monkey see and monkey do

They're just mirrors to you

When you hand raise the beast

All they learn is defeat

You'll only get what you give

'Cause they learn what they live

So when you hand raise the beast

All they learn is defeat

Every time that I hear the excuse

That I just did the best that I could

It makes me sick, yeah it makes me sick, sick to my stomach

How no one seems to, no one seems to, no one seems to get it

I haven't done this in my song writing life, but I would be open to some feedback and criticism on my lyrics for once. If I can improve on my delivery or if syntax needs adjustment. You name it, I'll take it into consideration if the changes fit the singing pattern.

whats your music style like? ive thought about ideas like this. i find most help the world type music comes across like they half mean it and not fully convinced themselves. like with majority of New world order conspiracy orientated music , theres only a couple that i value the musicality off
