MysterionMuffles Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 http://distractify.com/people/reasons-why-pope-francis-is-the-person-of-the-year/ Your thoughts? I feel sceptical towards this. Has he really spoken up against child abuse? And when he consoled that rape victim...did he offer true solace or God's protection?
cab21 Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 "praise for aknoledging athiests can be good people" oh just wtf?
Wuzzums Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 Strange how there was a professional photographer for all those events... Still, considering all the events he has to make up for, I'll maybe start praising him after he cures all diseases and brings world peace.
MysterionMuffles Posted December 20, 2013 Author Posted December 20, 2013 The one thing he didn't do is remind the American military "thou shall not kill" is being neglected.
cynicist Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 Ha, all of the things on that list seem pretty easy. If a small amount of money or words is all that is required to cleanse the filthy reputation of the catholic church then I think the pope has made quite the bargain. I'll believe there is a fundamental change when I see priests kicked out, put in chains, and excommunicated for molesting children.
alexqr1 Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 So now that the catholic church is losing adepts, they get a pope like this. That is lucky... and convenient.
LanceD Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 He is the head of a multi-national child sex abuse ring. Who fucking cares what he has to say?
