Three Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 I thought it was very pretty. Sometimes, I focus too much on trivial things.. This poem felt like a reminder of what's really important. I felt sad while listening as well and I'm not sure why. Was that written for you?
Stephen C Posted March 10, 2014 Author Posted March 10, 2014 Thank you for sharing your experience listening to this piece, Joel. I imagine you do know why you felt sadness. I wonder what the sadness you felt would say if it could speak. It was written for me in that I am the authors friend and will continue to be as long as the monster doesn't defeat us, which I doubt it ever will.
Three Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 I think it said, "I wish I had a friend like that.."
Stephen C Posted March 11, 2014 Author Posted March 11, 2014 I think I can understand the sadness some. I wonder how you would respond to what the sadness is conveying.
Three Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 I think I can understand the sadness some. I wonder how you would respond to what the sadness is conveying. With curiosity. And reassure that part that I can be a good friend as well.
Stephen C Posted March 17, 2014 Author Posted March 17, 2014 I feel light reading that and there's a smile on my face. Thank you for sharing, Joel. That's beautiful.
Three Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 You're welcome and thank you. It was really difficult for me to post that, particularly the second one.
